Ryan moved to london 5 years ago to he shed himself of his countryside upbringing from a tiny village outside birmingham and to welcome in the new millennium with 6" stilletoes in the bright lights of the city.
After completeing a degree in jewellery design Ryan changed direction and began working with performance and costume. Currently working on his own material 'The Styles guide to..' these acts have been performed at nights the 'hanky panky caberet', 'The tranny talent contest' and the 'whoo-Har'. Ryan will be taking his balloons and peacock fans up to this years edinburgh festival to participate in the caberet night 'the cave of the golden calf' throughout august.
Ryan also collaborates with 'Yr Mum' in a project called 'DOUGH' these acts include 'More cake?' which can be seen on www.kctv.co.uk, they have also reinterprited Leigh and Nicola Bowery's legendary birthing performance at Kashpoints Bowery tribute night.
Spotted by Matthew Glamorre wearing a 4ft cone dunces hat and floor length fur coat, Ryan was asked to work the door at 'Alternative Miss World 2004' this lead to his regular spot on the door at 'Kashpoint'. Ryan also runs the door at Nude, Cookoo-Couture and Family.
Ryan was commisioned by burlesque dancers 'The Lady Grey Tease' to make and design hats for their west-end show, these creations have been printed in magazines Scarlet and I-D, Ryans also appeared in Boys, Axm, Attitude and I-D magazines several times wearing his outlandish looks.
