SOCCER

We get many questions about having soccer in Little Elm and here's the status:  Currently, Matt Wermine has agreed to chair our exploratory committee on bringing a soccer program to our Association and is working hard with the City of Little Elm to finish building the soccer fields at Little Elm Park.  Probable start date is Fall 2004.  
FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING

Cheerleading: for ages 5-12
Flag Football: for ages 5/6
Tackle Football: for ages 7-12

All age brackets determined by participant's age as of Aug 1st before the start of the Fall season.
BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, T-BALL, & BLASTBALL

T-Ball: We offer T-Ball for ages 5&6 and Blast Ball for age 3&4
(as of Jan 1st of current school year)
Softball: ages 7-14 (as of Jan 1st of current school year)
Baseball: ages 7-15 (as of Aug 1st at end of Spring season)
BASKETBALL

We offer programs for boys and girls ages 5-12
The Board has public open meetings on a monthly basis as well as optional closed meetings if necessary.  Any persons wishing to address the Board must notify the Secretary at least 24 hours in advance so they may be put on the agenda at secretary@leaysa.com.  Time will be limited. 
Monthly open meetings:
      Lakewood Village City Hall, 7:30 p.m.

                                         MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Association shall be to foster and advance youth sports within the territory under its jurisdiction and to guard the interest of its members.  The program shall promote good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and courage through good competition.  The program shall also provide the opportunity to play and practice sports within its boundaries that have not been previously available because of the rural nature of the area.

The Association is organized exclusively for non-profit purposes and is certified as a Section 501(c)3 charitable organization with the IRS.
