a Humble Proposal : to solve the conflicts in the Middle East



It seems that we are living in the peaceful world. We have never participated in the war, suffered for famine or captured as slavery. We live peacefully with friends and family and impatiently concludes that the world we are living on is peaceful. This hesitant conclusion, however, can be proved wrong when we turn on the TV just to see conflicts happening in the Middle East. These days, conflicts between Israel and Palestine is rising as a world wide issue.

Beginning from september twenty eighth of 2000, the conflict between Israel and Palestine is still in progress up to now. Each claiming that he owns the territory and tries to push other outside of the area. Even though UN is trying to solve the problem peacefully, the solution is hardly seen. Both Palestine and Israel does not agree with the solution given by UN and keeps on fighting. Because of the war between these two countries, other countries around them are damaged and the world is becoming noisy. When we turn on CNN, we can easily see the program mainly focusing on the Middle East and we become complicated by figuring out that we are living in unpeaceful world.

To solve the conflicts and to make the world peaceful, I am going to suggest the best solution to the case. U. S. A, France, England, Japan or other countries who own the nuclear arms might launch all nuclear bombs they have to the middle east simultaneously. Then, Middle East will be blasted and it will disappear as if there were nothing before. When the Middle East disappears, other remaining world does not have to care about that headache inducing problems which were previously happening in the Middle East. CNN will save money by not making a program focusing on the Middle East and thus, people will feel that the world is now peaceful.

Another benefit of nuclear arms launching plan is that by launching all nuclear arms they have, there will be no more danger of nuclear weapons. Many pessimists are agreeing on the same subject that there might be a nuclear war in few years and the earth might be ruined. This worry will easily be disappear if we performs that plan and the world will be more peaceful and people might live with safety.

The last benefit we might earn from the plan is the examination of the scientific development. Even though Albert Einstein had developed nuclear weapons, the effect of it can only be seen from the case in Hiroshima. Because of the great destructive power of the nuclear weapon, it is hardly tested on the world. Many people are ignorant about the effect of the nuclear weapon and had never saw the use of it. Since, many scientists put great effort to invent the nuclear weapon, there must be a chance to experiment it on the real scale. By launching nuclear weapons, curious people may satisfy their curiosity, scientists may be proud that what they made is used in reality and politicians of the nuclear weapons owning countries will be satisfied by the usage of the nuclear weapons.

I humbly say that this proposal is the best way to solve the conflicts in the Middle East. Even the side effects of the plan such as creating the mushroom cloud can please many people who watch it. As a solution for the conflicts in the Middle East and for the sake of the world peace, this humble proposal should be performed world-widely.
