for the club’s opening in 2003. He was picked out of the line up and hired by Crobar host freak Kitty Meow. Since then Gazelle has become a staple in the freak scene of New York. He published his own magazine entitled GAZELLAND that is currently in release of its third issue. The magazine is solely dedicated to the children of the night & the fabulous freaks of New York, London and Sao Paulo. Gazelle frequents all 3 cities as a flight attendant for a major airline. His passion for dressing up has taken on an unconventional approach. “One morning I was thinking about what to wear out to the club, as I rolled out of bed I fell into the curtains, Voila!, that’s what I wore that evening. Gazelle’s out of the box inspiration didn’t stop there. Tiffany garbage bags, computer monitors, newspaper, broken umbrellas and trash of all kinds have been the fabric for Gazelle’s creations. For some of us our makeup and looks take hours of our time before going out. Not Gazelle, “Darling I’ll be ready in 10 minutes.” He is the poster child for the new freaks making everything easy and effortless creating style out of anything.
