We've Got It Goin' On

This is the boys' first video. It's pretty cute, especially the part when the girl sprays the water on Brian and Nick is smiling jealously. If you're a big fan of Nick at a younger age, you'll like this one. This is our second favorite video.

Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart)

This is our favorite video. Nick, in the first half, is as adorable as we have ever seen him on video or television. All the guys are wearing dark colors, black, gray, white … and Nick seems to be the one who is really broken-hearted in this one. A super-plus—NO GIRLS! The second half is kinda gross, considering that it's Nick's body we want to see, not Howie's. Nick, throughout the second half, is sitting on the bleachers, acting as miserable as can be. Wow, he has great acting skills!

As Long As You Love Me

This is our fourth favorite video. (Our third favorite is the European version of I'll Never Break Your Heart.) Nick, especially when solo, is very cute in this video. In the part when he “auditions,” he wears a silly “this is what you have to wear when you come to LA” green suit. And in the end, when he does that long, high note, he looks SO sad and cute! Big minus—girls!

Everybody (Backstreet's Back)

This has got to be our least favorite video, even more so than the new and “improved”
I'll Never Break Your Heart. Nick, as all of you
probably know by now, is a mummy who dances with
two—you guessed right! GIRLS!!! I don't know …
the dancing was okay …

I'll Never Break Your Heart (American Version)

This one is our second to last favorite. After seeing this, you actually
wished the bubble would've popped in his face!
That fifteen year old girl named Jessica
—don't you just want to strangle her? Not only her—but Nick too! Take your dirty paws
off Nick! Hey, the bubble gun was cute … and the drawings
were good … and the room was cool …

All I Have To Give

I don't get this - they have two versions - one when they are in a pool, and the other one which is played on MTV - or used to. In my opinion, this is quite the boring video ... some dancing, Nick looking funny ... The highlights of this video are when Nick sits down on the chair (in the green bandana), when Nick is swinging his leg while sitting in the chair (gray suit), when his hair falls funnily, and when he sings "to you" and he shoves his hand into the camera. That's the whole overview of the video - just about ...

I Want It That Way I don't like this video very much, even though Nick is really, really cute in it. It's a whole new style, and I like that. I don't know exactly what it is that doesn't make it special - maybe because it's just like all the other videos out there. They walk in - an airport - they sing, with a BSB plane behind them, and then they sing to their fans, then they go home. Kinda boring - but nevertheless, Nick is cute as can be. Three cheers!

Larger Than Life When I said I didn't like I Want It That Way that much, I hadn't seen this video. This video is HORRIBLE!!! The highlight of the video is probably the very beginning where they countdown and play clips of all the previous songs. Nick wears some yellow and blue fake looking cardboard outfit and, well, the dancing part is even worse. WHAT are they wearing?! Well, you're subjected to your own opinion and I am too. Let's just hope this phase doesn't continue.

Show Me The Meaning (Of Being Lonely) Straight-off, I can tell you this is some of the best stuff they've ever done. It's not my favorite video (certain reasons), but it is deep. It's like a movie, with a plot and everything. It's great. So ... I can tell you right now that it's all black and white. Except for the end and the red line in the beginning at the hospital. Brian's part is of his heart surgery, AJ's is of a girl whom he misses (he cries while riding on a bus) ... and he sees her figure, but she disappears. Kevin's part is him watching videos of him and his father at home, and Nick walks on a smoky street (wearing the same type of black cap he wore in "We've Got It Goin' On", black pants and a black trenchcoatish coat), and he saves a girl from being hit by a bus. For a moment, it almost seems as if they will kiss, but they don't. Howie's part is of his sister (and once again, they've got that disappearing girl thing going). Then they all walk down the street. They show AJ getting out of the bus, which says "Denniz St." (appropriately named), and he does this really cute/funny hat thing. The Boys walk down the street together, singing (and Nick bends down to singing "Being lonely", and starts walking sideways!), and they reach the end of the song, when the sky turns purple and yellow and stuff. It's a really sad (but good) video.

The One

This is like a concert-footage video. They show behind-the-scenes, in-concert, and MTV clips. It's hard to mention everything, so check this interesting sneak-peek video, ESPECIALLY if you haven't been to any of their concerts!!!

Shape of My Heart

This is more of a "documentary" as the director says. It follows the Boys through a day of rehearsals, and as they watch two actors practice a scene in a play (namely a play called Shape of My Heart). Nick is supercute in this video, and he sings with great emotion. The only problems I have with this video really have nothing to do with the Boys, but with the two "actors". The director makes it seem as if Nick is singing to the female actor, and she pays more attention to Nick than any of the other Boys. The other thing I do not comprehend is WHY the two actors make out under the table WHILE the Boys are eating at it!!! This video is very natural, very cute. And the positively healthy part of this video is that after seeing Nick hold an apple, you want an apple a day to keep (ahem) in sync with Nick!!!

The Call

(warning: this is VERY long)

This is, arguably, the best video the Backstreet Boys have ever done. It really shows that they have grown ... it's a little Show Me The Meaning ...-esque, with a storyline and a plot. Of course, that has to do with the subject matter of the song.

It starts out with AJ at a dance club (complete with Jennifer Lopez green lazer lights). He calls up his girlfriend (a cute innocent looking blonde teenage-ish girl) on his cell ... then this mysterious, dark, tall (sounds a bit like our Kev lol) woman comes out of nowhere and whispers "I got a place nearby" in AJ's ear. AJ, being the promiscuous young man he is (lol), follows her. They ride away in a taxi, sort-of making out. But then, in a flash, the woman leaves the car and runs away. AJ desperately tries to find her, running through traffic in what seems like the Lincoln Tunnel (ack! NYC traffic sucks!!!). He jumps of this platform and ... turns into Brian.

Brian runs all around what looks like NYC when it is deserted (impossible! ~ That's cuz it's like LA or something haha) ... and he gets hit by some unidentified flying objects. He looks up and sees a billboard with the BSBs picture on it. AJ and Brian have been crossed out. He picks up something that has been thrown at him (it looks like a bomb or something), and he squishes it. Things start flying towards him -- he runs into a supermarket. The lights go out, and he sees the mystery woman. He chases her out of the market ... and turns into Nick.

Nick drives to a hotel and looks around for Miss Mystery. He bangs on Howie's door and Howie consoles him. Nick washes his face, and Howie offers to drive him in search of the woman. As they walk out of the hotel, Nick looks around for Miss Mystery. Howie looks around a few times ... just as Nick and Howie are leaving the hotel, we see Howie (what!? Another one?) requesting a cup of tea (or coffee) at the reception desk. Howie gives Nick a couple of strange looks, but Nick doesn't notice (he's too busy thinking about the woman ... aw, if only he were thinking about us!). Nick adjusts the mirror (one of the hottest frames of Nick in this video ... sigh), and see Miss Mystery's reflection. Nick turns to Howie, who is looking pretty evil at this point, and Howie slips out the door of the car. Nick watches as Howie tumbles a few times, and Howie pulls off his mask ... and, guess what? It's little Miss Too-Cold-to-Stick-Around. Nick turns back around and tries to control the vehicle. He ducks down, and the car stops.

Kevin resurfaces, and he ... oh wait, I'm sorry ... (not in a snooty tone) ... I seriously don't remember what EXACTLY happens cuz I've been hit by one of Cupid's arrows again. Darnit. Anyways, what I do remember is Kevin going into some room with the words "LIAR", "deceit", "cheat" ... written over and over again in red. He comes to the end, where there's a window (is this before or after the room? Nick has really gotten to me this time!), and he jumps across it cuz the woman has just done so ... oh wait, I remember some stairs ... and chasing. And then Kevin comes in contact with his (or at least AJ's) original girlfriend, the cute blonde. But this time, she's not all that cute. She has her whole entourage (maybe like 150 people!). The camera goes back to Kevin, who is joined by the rest of the Boys. And that's pretty much the end. :) Sorry that took so long!
