Trust and Love Comes from above Lives in Our Hearts From the day our life starts Today is the beginning of a brand new year In the past year, we've all shared many a tear We've all been through much together Now it time for us all to gather Each of must start anew The past is over we have much to do Take the lessons we've all suffered to learn There are many and have caused much concern Each of us have had a lot to bear Each of us in our hearts have felt a tear Our lives must start a new year again Where do we start, where do we begin Time will tell us all the answers we are to know First we begin in Trusting in God, for He will show He will take care of all our needs He will perform Miracles and Many Good Deeds Why is it so hard for us to trust in HIM Given time, he will show us, we can all win He gave us all that we will ever need Can't we show him in His Will, we will take heed Everything we have been through is not really all bad There are many lessons to learn and to be had There is good in everything that happened to us You just have to remember, to place in God your TRUST We must all remember to let go and let God He is always with us and by each of our sides He never gives us more than we can handle, I'm sure He Knows and Trusts, We can all endure Sometimes he gives us a lot it seems He always gives us each a means Means to bring us closer, it not just a whim Sometimes a lot, so we can call out to HIM If you can feel lonely, sad or in pain Crying does not help, what do we have to gain We all feel upset at certain times God must be tired of hearing us whine He must feel the same, missing all of us He KNOWS all we have to do is Trust He can take away all those feelings from us When will we ever learn to TRUST It's such a shame so many forget Why haven't we all learned yet God is there for all of us We must place in Him our Undying TRUST Now, it's a brand New Year, starting today Perhaps you will be happy, to hear what I have to say In God, I have always placed my Trust and Love He has blessed me from High above Yes, I have suffered just as all of you have But I found a way to be happy and to be glad For God is always at my side I've never found anytime when He has lied I wanted to share with each of you What I am about to try and do Perhaps your face will not have a frown Perhaps I can turn it upside-down A frown upside-down is a smile You've had it there all this while The choice is yours, God gave it to you You may choose a frown or You may smile too Since it is the New Year and Time now begins new These are the things I wish to share with you I'm making up a package to throw away So I can begin a brand new year and smile today Can you guess what in the package will there be Can you guess what a new person I will be to see I am placing the package outside in a big old stack For the garbage man to take and burn at the garbage shack There will be nothing of value in that box taken away But getting rid of it will bring me a brand new day I have places all the things that caused me to feel sad All my past years worries that I had All the pain I have suffered these last years All the many things that brought me many tears All the things that have hurt my friends All the things that must come to an end Oh ... But I have kept all the lessons I have learned All the things God taught me that are of worth and concern I saved all the memories of my sweet friends I met on line I want to keep them forever and for all of my time I kept all the love and the TRUST in God's Word I keep all the prayers that I know God heard I kept all the feelings and thoughts that brought me Happy tears I brought them all into My New Years Now wouldn't that be something if all of you had your own box Placed in them the same and covered them with tops Put them out for the garbage man to take away So God, can give you "all" a Brand new Day Wouldn't it be "Grand" if you kept all the same things I did Never go back and lift that boxes' lid Begin your New Year, with Love and Trust The way God intended that we must Trust and Love Comes from above Lives in Our Hearts From the day our life starts Never give this precious gift away It's a sure guarantee for a brand new day We have the choice, God gave it to us So why can't we all, Place in HIM our Trust! © Joynheart Have A Web Page?
