Fluffy clouds, rainbow's bright.... Will I remember with sheer delight?
Twilight, sunsets, dusk and dawn.
Can I hoard dearly the sight of Don?
I'm frightened now.... Have so much fear.
I need to remember the ones I hold dear.
I want to ask, "Why me, my God...."
You haven't answered... you only nod.
Will I brave the sadness that you send?
With love and encouragement from my friends?
I pray for courage from you on high....
What will I do when the time is nigh?
So please grant me courage, strength, and hope
to accept this affliction so I can cope.
But now I fill my eyes with sight....
To comfort me through the darkest of night.
I don't understand why this must be..
