The stars, oh how they twinkle up in the evening sky. Oh how they shine and glimmer like diamonds hanging high.
They light the way for Angels who travel amongst them there. And cast their heavenly light upon Angels' golden hair.
Sometimes when all alone do I stare up in shear delight at the million brilliant stars that shine throughout the night.
And sometimes on a misty night, I look up, sadness on my face. I search and search for just one star, but only clouds now in their place.
Then a breeze does gently blow the clouds away and then, I look up and smile for the stars are back again. |
