Deep in the forest which was un-explored due to a legend of a powerfull God believed to be the Lady of Fire.  There are supposovly strang beings that inhabit that section of the land.  This is my story for I am a scout, a very skillfull scout named Ben.  I hope to survive for now I am suffering from a strange alilment that has powerlized my right leg.  When I succeded in disposeing Mithras staff that a young scout has brought me.  I am skillfull enough to hide quietly here, {hears footsteps).............. {footsteps move away, Ben starts to wright again} well I will continue with my story , or rather confession now that the Ahoul Scout has left.
They are probably wondering how the Ahoul found Avalon.  The had confession is that it is I who led there here.  Please I beg of you not to burn this journal.
It was a humid summer morning two years agoe when I talked with my fellow scout Mudam, who was in his secret cavern, that I was going to explore this mysterious place.  I don't know how I will communicate with the strang in habitance if there are any I basically said.  I remember now!  Mudam told me "You must be a very foolish or very bord since we don't have any enemys.  You may be out of practice"  I stood up only to bump my head on the cavern celing and shouted "I AM AS SKILLFULL AS YOU!  I CAN HIDE LIKE AN ANT IN A BASKET OF BLACKBERRIES! then I rubbed my head and sat down.  Mudam just stared at me when he realyzed the I was serious for this mission.  He then quietly spoke " well I guess that I owe you an apology, if you keed me for anything I will be at your service, may the good spirits show them your blessing!"  We talked for a while and then he joked about the legendary Naga, "And if you find any Naga, bring me one because I have this nasty little spider in this hole and he keeps on makeing web and I want it killed, I really hate running into cobwebbs."  I must admit that I was shocked about him saying this after all he was really more afraid of them being real, let alone have one be a house keeper!  I did what I could do at the moment, laugh at his comment, he laughed and we drank.  "To knew freinds and, and, more beer" I said....boy was I drunk.
When I made it back to the village I was by Elazor's Tower.  I though about sneeking in because when I startle him and an experiment blows up and chars his face that allways gave me a good laugh, takes a few years off I though, (looks out threw a hole in the barn and sighs ans he can see the top of the tower lit by the full moon) he said that some great catastraphy was about ot occure but couldn't tell when.  He said that he saw me in a dark room surrounded by......(a tear runs down his cheak as he realyzes the truth of the prophacy)...Ahoul scouts, he couldn't tell if they saw me or not.  Or if I will die here.  (stats to search his mind franctially of the events that would lead to the terror of avalon)  I then walked away from him because he was always a pestamistic.  I decided to go into the church, after all I should pay respect of God if he will provide his spirits to help me on my quest.  How beautifl the church was, there were gold chandellers on the celing, silk alter cloth with a gold cross, a thick bible, beauifull pipe organ.  The organ was located behind the alter and the pipes were along side the wall, and even the golden chalace...wait the chalace of life!  If I can get my strength I can get it, Massus showed me where he stored it in the basement.  If the Ahould didn't get it first then I could get it.  I doubt that in Massus's rush that he would even be able to get the thing.  With that power I can get to Avalon.  I must think this clearly, first there will be voreworms all over the place, I know that by South Gater there are wolves that run abound there I won't make it there without that chalace.  How will I get there though?

Chapter one.  The First Encouter of the Grass Lepard Clan
This requires some imagination if you have windows media player then you can listen to Siege of Avalon music.  Unfortunatly there is a and "Agreement" between Digital Tomb and another Contractor and (from an E-mail James sent me, brifly states the Digital Tomb can't use the music files without paying them (other contractor) and they (other contractor) can't use the music for any thing else so as he said "stail mate".  So I will tell you what song is best to have playing while the story goes on.  The italic lettering is the actural journal entry.
Also I am not a writher for Digital Tomb so this is "fan Fiction" meaning made up by a fan, sort of like djcproductions has only I love to write stories and well they get kinda BIG !!!!!  (hey I need the publisady)
Picture the village from the game, thriveing with people, then as the camera "floats" over head, the village gets dark and the people vanish and only skeletons and rats can be seen.  Then the camera zooms in on a barn.  You see Old Ben.  There is a bandage around his leg stained with blood.

"Damn Sha'ahoul." he says in a hushed tone.  "Well I may not live long so . . . to clense my soul I will write my confession.  For it was I who lead the Grass Lepard's on thier mad rage." a tear runs down his check and falls on the ground.  "I must confess . . . all the bloodshed . . ."

(fron chapter 4)
Well it was the Summer of 239 when I firs met the Grass Lepard Clan.  I was amazed at thier twisted ogre-ish pig like faces.   And only a day away from Montergerm, a small farming village, that this tribe lived by.  I unfortunatly wasn't able to communicate with them.  And I wanted to learn of this culture.  I really wanted to learn of these people.  Well I haven't been given any assignment so I guess that I was boared and wanted some adventure,, no offense to my higer commanders.  Havein found an unkonw tribe only a day away from Montergerm was a breakthrew!  Humans and them had never met untill now, that's what I thought.  Overon....

I wanted so badly to learn of the language that it bacame an obsession.  So I started reading books to see where I should start.  After all no one to my knowledge even new of this clan.  I didn't even know them by the GRASS LEPARD CLAN until much later.  I had accidently picked up a book on magical enchantmens and the page was open to a medallion.  It was a simple medallion, like a round bronze circle with a grayish rock in the center.  Quite un-attactive.  It was called the Amulet of Babble, although it didn't look like an amulet but I wasn't about to critacise the book.  Especially since I wasn't a mage, I only knew of a heal and fireball spell.  And wasn't good casting fire.

I then decided to hunt out my friend Elazar, a most un-usual friend but there's worse....Felious...

I found my friend in his tower which isn't fram from where the Citadel would have been built by, in the comeing years of the war.  I snuck in useing a tree that was on the northern side of the structure.  And slowly slipped into the basement.  I saw him working on chemicals and I simply put my hand on his back.

Well after startling the poor man and an explosion occured.  Which released some sort of spell that looked like a fire ball but only white, and it flew around the room like a lost bird until it collided into a wall. After it's collision there was a smaller explosion but much louder.  He was rather upset with me after that stunt.

"Damn you Ben!"  Elazar shrieked and continued his rampage of words, "Look and the Aura of Light!  I have been workeing on that damn spell for three whole blooming months!  I had to extract the entergy from a Naga  (Indeed there was a Naga in the back room, most rare species to find and even rarer to defeat one I was amazed at the burnt corpse and Elarath carried on in the back ground.  "Half human" I said.  As I knewl donw and touched it.  Then Elazar came in and in a harsh tone.  "Well how do you like him, medium rare or well done?  This one is well done, I can get another for you kind sir.  That one is so petrafied from extracting the spell, it will keep that figure for several years if I leave it alone."  It was only me that he would joke to, we were sort of good friends, and he respected me for I am almost allways able to enter the tower.

"Damn, this is comeing out like a novel, well I guess I will continue, maybe the detalis will come out better this way.  I must confess before I can die..." he bagan to write.

Well after the wise crack that Elarath said, I questioned about the Medallion or Amulet of Babble.  Well he told me of the details,  "The Amulet of Babble is believe to have been created after the tower of Babble Fell, and when God had the laguages changed.  I don't have the origial which is legend of haveing been created by God.  Hasn't been proven.  I guess that a priest has it locked away...

There was an associat that I had often conferenced with and we have assisted each other.  Well, alas he has been dead for some time now.  We actually made a crude Amulet but have never proven it's power.  If the people that you wan't to communicate with that have the different tongue are desendant's from the groups of people who built the tower of Babbel, then you may be able to understand them and they will understand you."  He handed me the "crude medallion" and I placed it aroundr my neck.  He then continued, "And don't quote me on the fact that God created it, due to limited writers, there may be some exagerations."  We then exchanged our fairwells and I departed.

"Oh how foolish I was, of all my mistakes in life, and so many died, and now the Seven Kingdomes may be shattered!"

Just then a human came in, and he approced Old Ben and asked if he was alright.  (Chapter 4 conversation of you and Old Ben here).

"What if he can get the staff, how will I dispose of it?"  Well the switch should be successfull, as long as he isn't seen."

Well now I just talked to a wandering and some what foolish scout.  I had forgotten that Mudam wanted told me about him, and well, I was unfortunatly attacked and I am in this delema.  His name is (your name here) and I have asked him to get the staff from Mithras, It is only a shame that I have turned coward and untill now, haven't revealed my confession.  I must continue and wate for (your name here) to get the staff, unfortunatle I can't watch over him like Mudam suggested.

Back to my confession....

I left the town and returned to the stepps.  I was greeted by some powerfull gurads who looked not to be messed with.  Fearing their attack I stayed a distance away from them.  "I come in peace!  I wish no harm and would like to know of you culture.  May I?"

The gurads looked at each other.  And moved out of my way and with thier hand they motnioned for me to enter the village.  They lived in tentes and very little structures, there was a vast plain with a mountan in the center.  I was amazed at the beauty.  Just then one of the tribes men apporched me.  "Who are you and what do you wan't here, I say make you visit brief freak!"  I was a bit surprised that I was labled a "freak" but then shortly realyzed that I was a freak, a freak in this village.  The tribes men, were all the same.  They wore boren with the odd shaped bodeys and tough skin.  They were the Ahoul and I was a human so indeed I was a "freak".  He let me explore the village but stayed by me watching me like a hawk!

The village was composed mostly of huts or tents and there were several strucutres.  There was a structure of a blacksmith or a rock smith because only stone was fashioned, well that was before the attack and they never used metal before, untill that first attak upon Oriam.
I decided to talk to the Stone Smith I guess I could call him  He spoke "My name is "Ta'brek, I am a craftsman here.  How could I be of servis to  you stranger.  As I looked at his twisted face which bore the nose of a pig, He looked at me with odd eyes.  I spoke a very common frase.

"I am new here and would like to know people, who are you and were are you from"  Oddly enough, such a common frase used by new adventurors that had recieved a transferr and the line that I heard so often, I used my self.  Odd is an
under statement!

Ta'brek replied, "I am Ta'brek!  Ta' is the title of a fine crafts man.  I grind these stone to be very strong."  He gave me a stone dagger, it was sharp and held it's edge when he let me test it on a wooden log in the smitery.

He showed me some other weapons.  As I was about to leave when I noticed blood on a stone hammer.  The handel was also cracked.  The clan leader grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out.

"For what reason have you pulled me out of the building?" I asked.
"You ask no questions!"

I din't bother to argue, that wouldn't be at all impressive if there was to be an allience...

"
HA and allience, with evil!  Oh the deamonic beings!"

I walked towards another building, but was immediatly stopped.
The clan leader with a mean composure spoke out, "you are not to enter the sacret temple!  Only the Sa' could enter!  You are not even one of us!  You will make the temple dirty!  You are "dirt man".  I was considered a dirt man.  I was enraged and left the village before I attacked.  It would be in about two weeks before I would return.  I returended to Oriam and sleeped in the inn.  I had a dream of fire blazeing in the village during the winter -- I didn't believe in prementions, at that time.  And thought noting of it.

In the morening I walked down stairs and ordered some ham and eggs.  I then saw an older man who sat down at a table and started writing something.  It was Genereal Overon but I didn't kow him at the time..  I walked over and started a conversation.

"Well what is the local news may I ask?"  He looked at me and said,
"Sir!  I am not a writer, instead I am a general of the..."
"Please foregive me!  General, my mistake."
"Well, ah don't worry about it.  I have alot on my mind.  Trying to settal an allience with, well I really shoudn't tell now untill things are settled."  A very fromal excues and I took it.  I left General Overon to his writeing.  I at the timeI thought that he had poor penman ship but it was Ahoul writeings.  I met the man that would cause all of Avalon's Tradgedy's and didn't realyze it.

I then left to see a good firend of mine, Mudam.  I really wanted to talk to some one, after all, being called a "freak" and "dirt man" in one day was alot of burden.  When I enterd he chambers in the Citadel of Avalon I wanted to, but couldn't tell him about the Ahoul.  Instead we talked about old times and I forgot the matter.  If only I wasn't afraid of some un-civilsed culture getting the best of me, and my well known pride, the event's would have never been as desasterious.  This is all my fault.  I confess!

He closes the journal and stairs at the moon.  "I hope that that scout is okay, I'd have it if he would die, I should have gotten the staff, I have become a, coward......... he begins to sob.....
