My Choices

A life missing you,
Is like an everlasting winter,
Freezing my heart
And my tears as they fall.

A life without you,
Is like an endless parade of sleepless nights.
Nights of lying awake,
Staring at the wall while seeing only you.

A life with you,
Could be an eternity of summers,
Filled with unspeakable pleasures.
Pleasures made indescribable because they're with you.
A life loving you, Could be anything.

A life full of tears,
Or a life of accepting what cannot be.

What cannot be is you and me.
I love you more than enough.
But you don't feel the same.

A life loving you
Is what I choose.
Because you deny me
A life with you.
And a life with you
Is an eternity of despair.

Missing you I still do,
Even in a life of loving you,
But I have my blanket of love to keep me warm.

So it shall be,
Until if ever you change your mind,
Until my love is gone,
Than YOU shall have to
Make YOUR choice.
