Sweet notes: The arival on Neptune… cue dramatic music.

Disclaimer: Face it. I don’t own ‘em, and I doubt you do either, unless you made them or are the company that bought them, then that’s just fine but… er, hush up and read!

Warnings: AU; yaoi; psychologicalism; Kai/Tyson; that actually about covers it all, mild angst to be crunched over.

The first thing most humans noticed about the planet Neptune and its inhabited region were the amazingly artistically designed buildings, the huge spaceport, and sometimes, even, the sheer amount of traffic.

Tyson was not, by any current natural standard, one of those ‘most’. “Holy shit! Look at the size of it!”

“Yes Tyson, Neptune is quite large.”

“No, no! Not that thing, the water fountain! Look at it dude, it’s massive! I think I can even see the water!”

It took Kai almost a complete minute to realize Tyson was actually looking at a water fountain.

“…”

Tyson turned and looked at Kai; soft hair falling behind his neck as he did so. The rest of the bridge was busy preparing for the docking in one of the space stations, while the planet was displayed proudly before them. Dozens of ships zoomed past. Strange languages coming over the coms made the normally quiet Moonain vessel a buzz with noise.

Tyson moved across the bridge, tilting his head to one side as he came to side in front of the Moonain.

“Yes Mr. I am of the Silence?” He poked, blue eyes full of the promise of annoyance and mischief.

“Do not, Tyson.”

“Don’t what?”

“Do whatever twisted little evil thing you are thinking of.”

Tyson gave him the most innocent surprised face to ever be seen. “Me? I would never do something mean to someone as a form of vengeances.”

Kai snorted. “Whatever.”

Tyson narrowed his eyes. “Excuse me! But I’ll have you know I haven’t done anything cruel to anyone yet. You… yes youuuu, have been the asshole this whole time!”

“Tyson! That is incredibly rude to me.”

“Ohh, really? Too bad.”

“It is not too bad, you can shut up and sit down and behave for the rest of the docking.”

“Is that a threat?”

“No, it is a promise.”

Tyson narrowed his eyes, moving closer. “I don’t think so, Kai-sama, I doubt you’d have anything that would make me want to sit down and shut up.” The respectful slide on the Moonain’s name came out incredibly sarcastic.

“I do not have to make you enjoy it.”

Tyson’s eye widened. “ECCHI!!! ECCHI!! You sicko!”

He jumped backwards as Kai made a grab for him. “How could you possibly think of something so…” he paused for words and found none. “Ecchi!”

Kai sighed and made a tackle, swinging Tyson around, dizzying the human as he wrapped an arm around his waist. He whispered huskily into the shell of Tyson’s ear.

Tyson, shut up and sit down… or I’ll kiss you.”

Blue eyes widened. “You wouldn’t!”

~ ~ ~

Kai ignored the strange looks he received as he stepped out of the doorway and proceeded down the blue carpet laid before them. Behind him trailed the wary crew of the Moonain ambassadorial ship. Mostly composed of humans and three genetics.

Before them was a huge space port, and several dozen Moonain’s; waiting to direct the pure humans to the right checklists and housing operations. It was unsure as to what would happen to humanity, for as the alien philosophers speculated, they were at the end of their evolutionary chain and would die out within a few cycles as their planet was ended and there simply was not enough of them to carry on the species or restore its magnificence.

An old white haired Moonain stepped before Kai, inclining his head. “Greetings Kai-san. I hear your trip was… eventful.” A pair of wrinkled eyes behind glasses flicked to the form the Moonain ambassador had across his shoulders.

“It was quite rocky, Professor. I trust that you changed my password into the mainframe as I directed?” Kai ignored the look, if the Professor wanted to know, he would ask.

“Ahh, yes we did. There was a small glitch and a sum of money was taken from several of your accounts by the hackers, but we cut them off, changed the code and refurbished the amount.”

Kai nodded. “My thanks. Tyson?” He glanced at the load across his shoulders.

“What?”

“Are you going to behave?”

“…No.”

Kai sighed and rubbed his temples. “Please?”

“Why should I? besides-”

“Please, not this again. I said I was sorry, Tyson. I cannot do much more.”

Tyson squirmed around a little on his shoulders. Getting comfortable.

“You COULD have left me on Earth. I wouldn’t have been kidnapped. Three times. You COULD have left me alone. But noooooooo, you just had to kidnap me…”

“Tyson, we have been over this-”

“And you’re still missing the point, Kai, I hate you.”

The professor blinked. “How disrespectful! Do you have any idea, young human, what Kai-san has been through for your people?”

“Yes, and he STILL SHOULD have left me. When we say no, we mean no. but oh no, he just couldn’t keep it in his pants.”

The professor looked between them. “Please, Kai, explain?”

“Professor, this is Tyson, Tyson, this is the Moonain president.”

“I would bow but some asshole doesn’t trust me to run away and leave me alone…” Tyson grumbled from his position across Kai’s shoulders.

“…Has the human been like this the whole flight here?”

Kai shook his head. “No, he was like this the night before we got him on the plane, and every time he was conscious and around me.”

“Conscious?”

“Long story.”

“He is not racist is he?”

Kai snorted. “Oh no, he just really does not like me.”

“NOT like you? NOT? I hate you! I loathe you! You are a horrible-”

“He doesn’t shut up either.”

“My. Where do you want him to be housed then?”

“ASSHOLE! YOU ARE LOWER THEN THE-”

“With myself.”

There was a long silence, before Tyson broke the stunned silence and spoke.

“You don’t listen when I talk, do you?”

Kai glanced at him. “I do.”

“No, I don’t think you do.”

“I always listen when you talk, Tyson.”

“I highly doubt that, Kai.”

The professor pinched the bridge of his nose. “I am getting a headache.”

Kai nodded. “Welcome to my world, professor."

“Why? Why would you want this human to be anywhere near you?”

Kai sighed. “…He is my life mate.”

“AM NOT!”

“Tyson… shut up.”

“Make m- … I hate you.” Tyson blushed bright red and turned his face away before completing the challenging words.

“Really? I do not sense a true connection.”

Kai looked away. “It is a long and… painful story. Let us just say there are some things I must take care of, concerning my relationship with him.”

“Bastard…” Tyson muttered under his breath.

“…You are a strange man, Kai-san. But whatever you wish.”

They inclined their heads to each other before the president turned about the leave. He snapped his fingers suddenly. “Oh! In a few days we will be holding the celebration and mourning, I trust you will at least show up for the mourning?”

“They have already discovered the date?”

“Yes. In exactly two months from tomorrow.”

Kai sighed and nodded. “We shall be there. Perhaps he will have calmed down by then. But I will not be hopeful.” He glanced at Tyson, who was very quiet.

The president nodded and went.

There was a long silence in which Kai began walking again, heading to the baggage pickup. “You will have to pick your baggage up yourself Tyson.”

“I’m not a child Kai, I can do things myself.”

Kai nodded and set his burden down. Tyson immediately took a few steps away and straightened his clothing. Kai’s baggage was on of the first three objects to come around on the trolley. Tyson picked his two bags out of a large mass, they seemed incredibly indistinguishable from the other bags on the revolving trolley, but Tyson hugged them close. Glaring at Kai he shied from the offered hand.

“Tyson, this way.” The Moonain led the human to a docking area for ferry ships. He hailed a sleek black ship over and motioned for Tyson to board first. The ship was small compared to the large vessels they had been on before. Tyson sat as far away from the Moonain as possible. Looking out the window.

What are you thinking, Tyson?

It seemed like a long moment passed, as if Tyson would not end up answering.

Why are you near me again? Why… aren’t you rejecting me? Pushing me as far away as possible? You don’t want to live with me, anymore than I want to live with you.

Kai looked out his own window.

Something that makes life mates, life mates is the fact that we will never part sides again. It would be foolish of me to push you away again. There is no where to run, for either of us. We will be together… there is no helping that. Tyson… I do not actually know much about what happens once we complete the Experience the way it is meant to be; according to some, we will change to suite each other’s needs in a mate.

Tyson snorted aloud.

I won’t change for you, Kai. Make no mistake, I hate you.

I know… I do not expect we will ever get along.

There was silence for a while before Tyson laughed suddenly. “Ha, ha, ha, I guess that’s what makes it interesting, he, he.”

Tyson continued to laugh and Kai shook his head, smiling, just a little.

The rest of the trip was quiet, even when they landed outside a large building and the doors opened for them.

Tyson got out and simply stared.

The building was made of an unknown metal alloy, several windows looked out from it, around it there was a semi-circle of a garden, floating in the air were small yellow dots, akin to fireflies, but, on closer inspection were revealed to be air filters. The grass was blue-ish in tinge and the building looked like something out of a fantasy book. The roof was a dull red in color and the walls were mauve. However, this all paled in comparison to the one thing that caught Tyson’s attention.

“Cooool! Kai! Kai! Kai! Lookies! Lookies! It’s another water fountain!”

Tyson dropped his bags and ran over to the fountain, peering inside it at the water. The fountain was a simple statuette of a Lensa dancing, with water pouring from its wings. The base was a bowl shape.

Kai rubbed his forehead, he REALLY didn’t understand the fountain thing.

“Tyson, come inside.”

Tyson pouted but picked up his bags and followed the Moonain in.

~ To be concluded…

Sweet notes: next chapter is last chapter, next chapter is last chapter, next chapter is last chapter, next chapter is last chapter, next chapter is last chapter, *chirps* an, an, an its all exciting ‘n’ stuff!!! Ohh, new word to the glossary. ^^^^^^^

                                                                                                             .Glossary.

Upper level: The upper level of the world, pretty much a whole bunch of really tall buildings (think 80-200 storeys) with air ways, a place where most of the pure humans live.

Lower level: the real earth, beaches, and parks junk yards. Few pure humans live down here. It is overrun with non-humans.

Pure: otherwise called, ‘pure humans’ these are people with no genetic implants, no biological altering, no technology inside them at all. They are dwindling in numbers.

Genetics: people who were grown in test tubes basically, they vary in design and powers usually better at things then normal humans. Some people are altered after birth to become genetics; they usually live short lives.

Virtual holographs: Pretty much walking ghosts, they have no real substance and are only brainwaves coming from computers.

Cyborg: Most humans are either cyborg or genetic, cyborg being made of various metals, some cyborg never were human to start with, others are altered to a point they no longer are. They are pretty much robots. (Think the Borg… if you watch StarTrek)

Flesh collectors: cyborg made machines. Most cyborg get into fights and have their flesh ripped up, as they are incapable of regrowing this skin, they require new skin. This is what the Flesh collectors do. They find skin. Dead or alive is not important.

Moonain: A mysterious race of humanoid aliens. Said to be an ambassador of these people on earth. They resemble the Human Angel, and it is speculated that they have come to earth many times. They neither confirm nor deny this accusation. They have giant angel wings and are never directly seen unless the Human government has trades with them. They live on the far side of Neptune and refuse to allow a colony of more then four hundred humans to share their side of Neptune. They are incredibly mysterious. Most humans only ever see them once or twice on TV or in books. They seem to enjoy human media and allow any and all kind of writings or movies with their kind in them. They do not appear to have any children in their race, and refuse to explain why. Despite their similar structure to humans they are said to be very different mentally.

Hover board: A floating skateboard.

Insectiod domination: Several planets in different universes are controlled by large insectiod aliens which are extremely aggressive, Earth was once a prime spot for domination due to its large amount of food (humans) luckily the Moonain have easily fought off all attacks on Earth and the surrounding solar system.

Beastial warfare: Animal like aliens who seek to conquer other planets by using the animals already on it. There is a protective shield around Earth due to an incident in 1986, which almost escalated beyond control.

The Experienced: The Moonain version of dating. Not much is know about it’s effects on other races.

EMP pulse: electro magnetic pulse. It disrupts any electrical system within a certain radius. Although the current existing EMP’s aren’t quite as powerful as the one Max used.

Rejection: (Dictionary definition) to refuse to have, take, recognize, etc. To cast out or off. Something rejected as an imperfect article.

Moonain Freni: A Moonain version of a coffee. It is normally served cold, however hot increases its potency.

Lensa: A Moonain native animal. They look like cats with blue bat like wings.
