Hiding: chapter

He was having a dream. Not that unusual really, but what was unusual was that it was a pretty nice dream before it was rudely interrupted. The rudely interrupted part, if you haven’t figured it out, is what was unusual. You see, his dreams weren’t often rudely interrupted.
“Ahhh, kami-sama haiiiii…”
The source of the interruption, as we can gather by the above statement was a Japanese speaking youth. Youth by the sweet tones the moans were uttered in. Now, it wasn’t uncommon for this particular interruption to be moaning or speaking another language when they were in bed together. What was unusual was for it to be without stimulation from his part. Even in the mental range of things.
He stirred, white feathers ruffling and one long leg extending to poke the rude interruption in the side with a toe.
“Gomen, ahh… demo… itai… ohh... yesss… right there…” the sheets bunched and shifted as the youth squirmed around.
He peeled one crimson blue rimmed eye open to glance at the annoying creature he called a lifemate. “Stop scratching, Tyson.”
“Demo… itaiiii…. Ahh…” The boy started, only to trail off as he relieved the pain for a moment; his nails getting a better angle for his efforts.
Kai growled, ignoring the good vibes that ran down his spine from the scratching, he wasn’t actually itchy anyway; it was Tyson who had what looked like the world’s biggest stress lumps poking between his shoulder-blades. The skin was raw from the constant scratching that the teen had applied to the irritating area. The Moonain slapped the raven haired boy’s hand away from his back. “The doctor said no scratching.”
Pouty, blurry eyes turned on him. “I know… but… it’s itchy!”
Kai kissed Tyson lightly. “Deal with it.”
“Asshole.”
“Shut up and go back to sleep.”
The teen squirmed, wriggling his ass in an effort to find a way to sleep without half-suffocating himself. “But I can’t breathe when I sleep like this.”
“Is that why I thought I was suffocating last night?”
“That or that foul smelling crème.”
“Well since you bring it up, if you’re itchy, put some crème on. Now let me rest, I have a meeting tomorrow.”
Tyson groaned. He didn’t like the crème, it was possibly more itchy than the actual stress lumps on his back. “But it smells!”
“Live with it.” Kai grumbled, rolling over again.
Tyson whined again. Scratching a bit absently. Kai slapped Tyson’s thigh. “Stop it.”
The human rolled around until he was further away and proceeded to scratch like mad.
Kai groaned and turned his head to look the boy in the eyes. “Tyson, think very seriously about what your fingers do next, because if you keep it up I’ll make sure you’re in a kimono for weeks.”
Tyson’s hands paused. This was a serious threat between them. The human narrowed his eyes. “Kimono equals no sex.”
Things were serious now. Kai decided he would have to wake up.
