Sweet notes: Geez, you guys realise you’ve got me writing another chapter every day? The reviews just come in so bloody fast! I suppose… *thinks* lessee, 104 reviews, it might give me a bit of time… but at the rate we’re going… *grins* not that I’m not loving the attention… and Sugar’s just bopping his head to the beat…. No, seriously, he is. ANYWAY. Special thanks to AntimonyZero, Snowbird, Aoi-chan, lemony fresh, Strawberry Girl, Glasscat, Midget, Tainted Angel (love the plushies) and everyone else who’s been reviewing at a healthy constant rate… (Translation = I love you guys!!!). Unfortunately no one guessed what Max’s little red button would do… but you did a good job of guessing… and *cackles* I think you’ll get a kick out of what it is. Also, I can’t answer how old he is because I have plans on working it into the story.
Warnings: Yaoi, shounen-ai, Kai x Tyson. A bit of humour. Lemon. A tad psychological… but think about it, if I can read it and comprehend it… how much trouble do you expect? Also AU Sci-fi.
Disclaimer: If pigs were flying, hell was frozen over and judgement day had come, I would own Beyblade’s… look outside, if any of these three isn’t happening, it probably isn’t mine.

Losing: Chapter 11,The second save.
~ By Sweetdeily.
*
There was a loud resounding cracking sound, followed by the sound of every system going out, including the lights. Followed by a strange, eerie pink light coming from under a holding cell.
Followed by panic. Prison cells opened, collars fizzled out, weapons went dead, the computer dried up, translators exploded, energy radar exploded, shields crumpled, ship guns died, laser beams twitched. Perhaps the only two things not affected were the gravity and life support systems.
Noted, this was followed by an attempt to figure out what the hell had just happened.
Sea blue eyes narrowed as a finger came away from the little red switch. Glancing at the large pink A.I holograph.
"Did it work?"
The holograph nodded. Max didn’t have enough memory bites for it to be able to speak; his watch had a limit of 30,000 gigabytes. Max sighed, clicking a few more buttons to stabilise the hologram. "I need you to carry Tyson… I think he’s in serious trouble." The hologram nodded and poked a claw at Max’s cheek. The blonde blinked, bringing his hand up to touch something wet on his cheek, the touch hurt. He brought his fingers out infront of his face and in the pink light from Draciel he saw the blood.
"…It’s blood. Don’t worry. I’m fine. Tyson is in worse shape." Draciel nodded again and picked up the other pure human carefully.
Circulation was finally getting back into Max’s head now that the collar thing had fallen off. The two of them walked to the door and Max pushed on it lightly, the door swung open. What baffled the blonde though was why they had been moved in the first place. The two cells were exactly alike, although it served to reason that maybe some more of the Moonain crew were around somewhere.
Walking out into the corridor they found no creatures of any kind around where they were. "Must all be trying to fix the stuff up.
Max nodded for Draciel to keep close while he walked back the way they had first come. Stopping at a cell door and lightly pulling. There was a surprised gasp from inside and Max got his first glimpse at fellow prisoners.

"That’s odd."
"What is?"
"I can see the cargo ship on my radar."
"It must have lost an engine, otherwise we would not have seen it for a few more hours."
"No, it is not that Kai-san. The ship is showing no signs on movement. It is just sitting dead in space."
"Can you see the reason for that?"
"I’m scanning now… There are traces of an EMP charge and it would seem they have two systems still active."
"How many life forms?"
"15. We are within hailing range. But I do not think they will be able to receive our hails."
"Why is that?"
"The only systems active are life support and gravity."
"Can you tell what gave off the pulse?"
Ray frowned, clicking a few buttons. "Just a moment Kai-san." He turned, clipping a cord into the chip on the back of his neck. "Driger, locate source of EMP pulse discharge."
There was silence for a few minutes. Ray’s eyes widened and he laughed a little.
"What is it Ray?" Came Kai’s stern voice, the Moonain was not in the mood for laughter, Tyson was so close, he could practically feel it.
"K... Kai-san… haha. I apologise… but the source of the EMP Pulse… it came from…"
~ ~ ~
"Hello! My name is Max… and this is Tyson… er, he’s a little banged up, who are you?"
A pair of purple eyes blinked. "My name is Robert and my companion is Lee. Do you know what is going on here? We came from a Moonain ship… A beastial, I believe grabbed us."
"Hey, we were there! Tyson was awake… but, er, yeah. Do you guys want to like… I dunno, escape?"
As the two boys came forward they both blinked slightly.
"But is it not a bit too risky, what with all the guards?"
Max grinned. "Naw, they’re too busy trying to figure out what happened to their systems."
"What DID happen to their systems?"
"A good old fashioned EMP pulse, I modified it a bit though, it went out much like a computer virus."
"Most impressive."
Tyson groaned a little bit; breath coming in short pants. Everyone looked at him worried. Robert had a gash across his chest and Lee seemed to be having trouble walking, but out of the three humans there, Tyson looked by far the worst… it might have had something to do with him being unconscious.
"We better move fast. I’m worried about Tyson and there’s no telling when the systems will finally reboot."
"Very well. Let us go. I believe the hanger deck is that way." Robert pointed to their left.
"Yes, I just hope this is all of us."
"I believe there may be more cells on our way. We may open them."
A good half an hour must have passed by the time the boy’s got to the hanger bay they had found two more people one of which was unconscious and the other who could barely move. Draciel looked like a porter, carrying three boys. A large strip of glass covered the side of the corridor, allowing them to see into the hanger bay. What they saw baffled them. It appeared as if a ship was docking.
"It shouldn’t be able to dock! The systems must be coming back online!"
~ ~ ~
"The inside? But what kind of handheld weapon has a EMP charge?"
Ray shrugged. "I do not know Kai-san. I am almost complete with the manual docking. Their systems are still down, that’s why it’s taken me so long."
Kai nodded, turning off the COM and leaning back in his chair, wings ruffling. What a day.
Tyson…
~ ~ ~
It was dark and so very painful. The pain was so intense in the throbbing, he wished the blackness would just swallow him.
Didn’t want to breath. Because it hurt so much.
Didn’t want to think. Because it hurt so much.
Couldn’t move.
All he could see was the blackness, and the pain.
He wanted to cry. To scream.
But he had no voice.
He was helpless and the pain was so intense.
Tyson…
He wanted to recognise the voice. Wanted to scream for it to help. But he could do nothing but feel the pain.
It hurts… it hurts so much… please make it stop…
The pain was folding over him, lapping at him. The blackness would not take his consciousness.
It hurt to hear.
It hurt so much to breathe.
Someone… please… please make it stop… hurts so much…
His mind ached so much, the pain from the tiniest of whispers that was meant to be a scream.
Hundreds of pieces of glass cutting at his mind. And it all hurt.
~ ~ ~
It hurts… it hurts so much… please make it stop…
Kai jolted upright wings extending to their full length.
"Tyson?" but it couldn’t be Tyson because he was pure human. And pure humans couldn’t speak telepathically.
Someone… please… please make it stop… hurts so much…
But that was his voice again. Kai frowned as he leaned forward the words sounded like someone was running out of voice from screaming… or it was meant to be screamed but they didn’t have the mental ability to scream out a message.
Frowning the Moonain brought his ship in closer.
Flicking on the intercom.
"Oliver, make a scan. I want to know if there are any enemies in the hanger bay."
A few minutes passed and the voice from the other ship came back to him. "There are six life forms near the hanger bay, however two are not conscious and… well… there is a seventh form… but it is not alive."
"What is it then?"
"I do not know… but it’s huge…and moving."
Kai frowned. Whatever it was, Ray would find out soon. The Star Destruction was docked.
~ ~ ~
"What are we going to do, that ship is docked! We’re standing in the middle of the open, if there are more Beastials on there we’re as good as dead!"
Max rubbed his temples.
"We’re as good as dead if we go back, and maybe we can evade them if they are."
"So your suggesting we stay put?" Lee asked, trying to remain calm but looking just as frightened as everyone else.
"I’m not the leader! But I think yes, we should wait and see."
"Great."
The boys sank back against the wall and watched as a walkway extended from the ship.
A familiar friendly face appeared.
"Oh thank god!" Max let out a long breath, not bothering to move. He couldn’t anyway, his legs were feeling very weak all of a sudden.
~ ~ ~
Ray blinked when he saw a small huddle… illuminated by a giant pink… carry bag? No, it was carrying three figures, two of which didn’t seem to be moving at all, and one which looked like the poor boy had been through hell. He also noticed several hands waving at him. Shrugging he motioned for Oliver to follow him with a medical pack.
Making their way hastily across the space and into the corridor Ray blinked as he was suddenly tackle glomped by three boys.
"Thank god its you!" "Your here to rescue us right?" "So good to see something without a tail!" "We need help!" "Yeah, we got injured and Ty-kun has a server concussion. Butt hat doesn’t matter because we’re safe now! Right?" "And we had such a hard time getting here! We had to go slow because of all the guys, and we tripped over so many times."
Ray laughed slightly at the onslaught, managing to figure out that they were a bit happy to see him. The single conscious person riding on the giant pink thing smiled warily.
"Okay, okay! I’m glad you’re not seriously hurt. Though you do look a bit worn and torn. Kai-san is docking his ship as we speak, though he ‘ll need a bit of time because we have to do it manually, there seems to be a EMP charge that was detonated almost an hour ago and none of the systems are working." Ray cleared his throat. "And what the hell is the giant pink thing?"
Max laughed. "Ohh, that’s Draciel, she can’t talk because I didn’t have enough memory for it… but we wouldn’t have been able to see without her, or carried the injured."
"You guys look injured yourself."
"Yes but we’re still able to walk."
Ray nodded and motioned Oliver over. "Oliver, check on the unconscious ones first then I suppose." In the mean time. Lets get you guys onto the ships."

The pain was washed around by a wave of throbbing, which burnt at the pain. It hurt so much that he found his voice, a scream tearing from his throat. Air flowing with ease into his lungs once move. The burning scrapped away the pain like talons. Leaving his mind feeling soft and vulnerable. He was breathing softly, soft pleasant feelings flowing back into his body the relief of the pain unbearable. He could feel his hands gripping cloth. Could feel the cool smooth texture as fingers trailed across his forehead. The pleasant sensation of floating on blackness while a soft throbbing he had felt days ago pulsed through him.
A soft sigh escaped him, not awake, not unconscious but in a place where everything felt so good. The sounds of soft words he couldn’t even begin to understand floating through his mind, calming him. The soft throbbing lulling him.
So tired… feels so good…
He knew he was thinking these thoughts he wanted to sleep but he didn’t want to lose the feelings around him but if he kept hold of them he would wake.
Then sleep. I will keep you safe.
Who are you?
Don’t you remember?
I do.
Then name me.
I don’t want to think.
Why?
Because it was hurting… everything was hurting. Then the flames burnt it all away and it felt better.
Are you afraid if you name me it will hurt?
Yes. But it shouldn’t, I don’t know why I think that. Doesn’t make sense.
Then what have you got to lose?
Nothing.
Name me then.
… I’m too afraid to right now.
He clung to the soft fabric beneath his fingers sighing into the pleasantness.
I cannot keep you in this state forever.
Just a little bit longer… please? Then I can wake up.
Very well. But you will owe me a favour.
Why, will it be hard for you?
No, but I want you to owe me a favour you will be sure about.
… But I won’t be sure.
You know that already?
That is just how I am. I rarely show my true expressions.
Then know that you owe me something at least.
Okaaaaay.
He could hear soft laughter as the gentle touches continued. The voice in his head was nice, but the laughter sounded as if it were cold. They barely matched each other… yet it seemed as if it was the same person with different voices.
He drifted for a while enjoying the soft bliss around him, knowing something was different about his head, two something’s actually… one thing that hadn’t been there before and another that had been sleeping for a very long time, but which was which and what they were… he wasn’t quite sure,

Max glanced over to where Kai was with Tyson, the situation looked so strangely tender, Kai was humming something in his own language and Tyson was clutching at the Moonain like a life line. Everyone had jumped when they’d heard Tyson scream almost half an hour ago, but Kai assured them it was a good thing. Max had checked every now and then from where he was driving watching as Kai’s fingertips glowed, it was amazing yet frightening. Tyson would make a sigh or sound every once in a while and Kai seemed to be having a non-verbal conversation with him. Which made little sense. But so did the Moonain.
Max reflected on what Tyson had told him wondering how Kai could be so fluttery about the boy and not realise that Tyson had no sexual experience. And briefly… very briefly Max thought about telling Kai.
But from the way the two of them were touching he doubted it would make much difference.
There was definitely more then it seemed. Even if it took an unconscious Tyson to admit it.
Max chuckled a bit.
Especially since the waking one was so bloody stubborn. Tyson was going to give Kai a run for his money.
~ To be continued…
Sweet notes: a bit sappy… but I was kinda in the mood for it. Reviews? Liked it? Didn’t like it? Think the next chapter will be the long awaited lemon? Wondering what kinds of evil I have planned? *grins* I hope you guys liked it.
. Glossary.
Upper level: The upper level of the world, pretty much a whole bunch of really tall buildings (think 80-200 storeys) with air ways, a place where most of the pure humans live.
Lower level: the real earth, beaches, and parks junk yards. Few pure humans live down here. It is overrun with non-humans.
Pure: otherwise called, ‘pure humans’ these are people with no genetic implants, no biological altering, no technology inside them at all. They are dwindling in numbers.
Genetics: people who were grown in test tubes basically, they vary in design and powers usually better at things then normal humans. Some people are altered after birth to become genetics; they usually live short lives.
Virtual holographs: Pretty much walking ghosts, they have no real substance and are only brainwaves coming from computers.
Cyborg: Most humans are either cyborg or genetic, cyborg being made of various metals, some cyborg never were human to start with, others are altered to a point they no longer are. They are pretty much robots. (Think the Borg… if you watch StarTrek)
Flesh collectors: cyborg made machines. Most cyborg get into fights and have their flesh ripped up, as they are incapable of regrowing this skin, they require new skin. This is what the Flesh collectors do. They find skin. Dead or alive is not important.
Moonain: A mysterious race of humanoid aliens. Said to be an ambassador of these people on earth. They resemble the Human Angel, and it is speculated that they have come to earth many times. They neither confirm nor deny this accusation. They have giant angel wings and are never directly seen unless the Human government has trades with them. They live on the far side of Neptune and refuse to allow a colony of more then four hundred humans to share their side of Neptune. They are incredibly mysterious. Most humans only ever see them once or twice on TV or in books. They seem to enjoy human media and allow any and all kind of writings or movies with their kind in them. They do not appear to have any children in their race, and refuse to explain why. Despite their similar structure to humans they are said to be very different mentally.
Hover board: A floating skateboard.
Insectiod domination: Several planets in different universes are controlled by large insectiod aliens which are extremely aggressive, Earth was once a prime spot for domination due to its large amount of food (humans) luckily the Moonain have easily fought off all attacks on Earth and the surrounding solar system.
Beastial warfare: Animal like aliens who seek to conquer other planets by using the animals already on it. There is a protective shield around Earth due to an incident in 1986, which almost escalated beyond control.
The Experienced: The Moonain version of dating. Not much is know about it’s effects on other races.
EMP pulse: electro magnetic pulse. It disrupts any electrical system within a ceraint raidus. Although the current existing EMP’s aren’t quite as powerful as the one Max used.
