ARMOUR OF GOD
ARMOUR OF GOD
I am a soldier in the army of my GOD. The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer, and the word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, Trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I either retire in this army at rapture or die in this army:
But I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or be pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my GOD needs me , I am There. If he needs me in Sunday school, to teach the children, work with the youth, Help adults or just sit and learn. He can use me because I am there! I am a soldier. I am not a baby, I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up. I am a soldier.
No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me. lure me. I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place, Saluting my KING, obeying his orders, praising his name, and building his kingdom! No one has to send flowers, gifts, food, cards candy or give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discourage enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me in to this army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I will win. My GOD has and will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ. Devils
cannot defeat me People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me and Hell cannot handle me. I am a soldier. Even death cannot destroy me. For when my commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to a captain and then allow me to rule with him. I am a soldier in the army, and I"M MARCHING claming victory. I Will not give up, I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching heaven bound. Here I stand! will you stand with me?
If you have accepted Jesus as your savior and have been baptized for the remission of your sins, Your already enlisted! The question is, which part of the service are you in.
1.) Active duty serving the Lord faithfully, 2.) Reserve status: serving just as you need him or on Holidays. 3.) Guard status: Backing up the active duty groups. 4.) AWOL Absent without the LORD
I AM A SOLDIER
Ephesians 6:10-18
10   Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11   Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12   For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13   Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14   Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15   And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17   And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18   Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
