The Chicks performed Landside at the Grammys Sunday nite.They took home 4 grammys to add to their collection. they won Best Country Album, Best Country Instrumental and Best Country Performance By Duo Or Group With Vocal, Best Recording Package . Congrats Chicks!!!The Chicks kicked off their first commerical with BLUEfor the program Save The Music. Pics are UPPP!!!!! :)

"We've been overseas for several weeks and have been reading and following the news accounts of our governments' position. The anti-American sentiment that has unfolded here is astounding. While we support our troops, there is nothing more frightening than the notion of going to war with Iraq and the prospect of all the innocent lives that will be lost."
Maines further stated, "I feel the President is ignoring the opinions of many in the U.S. and alienating the rest of the world. My comments were made in frustration and one of the privileges of being an American is you are free to voice your own point of view."

"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American."

chance to play for Preident Bush at a congressional
dinner. "Normally we would, but right now, with so much
politics going on, we just felt that if we played for
him it would've looked like we were totally on one side
or the other."
Natalie Maines used bad judgment. All of us have at
some point in our lives, but, rightly or wrongly, her
words inspired fans to question her patriotism. The
question now is whether this controversy will blow over
before the Dixie Chicks' tour returns to the United
States on May 1.
The Dixie Chicks are still at the Top Of the World with their up coming tour.
After Nat got them in some trouble speakin out agaisnt President Bush. But guess what Chick Fans it didnt hurt the sell of the 3 lovely ladies ticket sale . The people who was calling in for refunds got told that they where not gonna be no refunds and other ppl was wantin to rebuy those tickets.Only about 6 of the 59 shows have any seats left.....WAAAWWW...And those also are expecting to sale out......If u are a member of the Chicks off. club you can buy tickets their for the show they have released addtional seats for Club members first. So if u don't have a ticket yet U better be gettin yr self one and if u do u better consider yr self a lucky chicklet !!!!!
"They can say what they want to say ... freedom is a two-way street. But I don't really care what the Dixie Chicks said, I want to do what I think is right for the American people and if some singers or Hollywood stars feel like speaking out that's fine," Bush said.

Dixie Chicks song Travellin Solider is in the round as they are makin a movie based on the song.The producers are tryin to make the end a love story. .Instead of the solider dying .But it's turnoil is General Shermons qoute"War Is Hell", and turning it into "War Is Heck", or "War is MildlyAnnoying". If something's worth killing for, it's worth dying for. And
that means real death, not the Mortal Kombat "Fatality" kind of death. So well they be able to turn this movie into a fairy tale ending ?? I guess we will have to wait and see .
