| Okay, guys! Look's like we ARE definately getting a sequel... "Stitch!-The Movie" will be out on August 26th, and you can pre-order it AND get a look at the DVD cover at Disneystore.com. However, it looks like even though they FORTUNATELY will have the same voices, the animation is slightly different. *coughs* My reaction was running to my Grandmother, screaming, "They pumped them up on steroids! NO!!!!" Yeah, well, I aint animating it, so, it's not my say what they look like. Ah, well...
At least the storyline is decent: The other 625 experiments are un-sealed, escape, and crash-land on Hawaii. The GCW asks Lilo and Stitch to capture them, turn them to good, God-fearing members of society, and find them homes in the community. Adopted alien relatives "Uncle Jumba" and "Aunt Pleakley" (the Aunt Pleakley thing scares me a little, but I CAN'T believe they took the "UNCLE JUMBA" thing from me!) also aid Lilo and Stitch in their search. Of course, what's a movie without villians? Ex-Captain Gantu returns, hired by Jumba's old rival, a hamster-like geneticist, Dr. Hasmetrviel (how original), to also capture the 625 experiments. The DVD will include: Animated menus with Stitch as your guide Trivia Challenge -- See the evil Dr. Hamsterviel's production of ''The Making of Stitch!'' and then take his Trivia Pop Quiz Experiment Finder -- Help Lilo and Stitch find the infernal experiments Experiment Gallery -- Meet more aliens and discover their powers ''Aloha, E Komo Mai'' performed by Jump 5 music video Anyway, I guess we L&S fans got our just desert... I think. Let's just hope that the laughs and the plotline are better than the animation... |
