The FurKids!!

Copper was the first puppy that we got. He was born in October 1997. He was a Christmas present to David. He loves to chase rabbits and howl like most beagles do. We never took him hunting because in his "younger" years, he was too fast. We were afraid that he would get too close to the rabbit and get himself shot. So, he just got to run rabbits for fun. They all survived! He was lonely, so we began looking for another dog.

Miss Hunny is a pound puppy. We got her in May 1998. They estimated her age as 6 years old at the time. We could tell that she had a hard life before we got her. She gets lots of love now and is David's favorite. She loves to hunt rabbits! In fact, the first trip home to Georgia, she got lose and went hunting. Luckily, David was able to track her down.

Miss Molly was born in March 2001. David was walking around the mall and saw this adoreable Scottish Terrier in the mall pet store. He took Arena to go see and after half an hour, they decided to bring her home. She has been a part of the Cheney family since she was 6 weeks old. She is quite the character! She loves to pick on Copper and to get lots of love from the humans. She watches over Baby Bobby whenever the parents leave the room.

Hi! I'm Copper. I thought that I would take a moment and describe myself to you. I love my family! I want to be with them all the time! Because of this I have Separation Anxiety. At least that is what my shrink tells me. While Daddy was in Korea, I got so depressed that I ate all the time. I now need to lose some weight. I was so excited when they brought Bobby home. I can't wait for him to grow and be able to play with me. I am the bottom dog. Hunny hates me. She growls at me all the time. Molly likes to pick on me. We play a lot, but I really don't like it

when she bites me in the butt! I just like to lay with Mommy and Daddy. I make a GREAT teddy bear! I get to sleep on the daybed in the nursery. I like that because I am near Bobby. I am just a lovable dog! I love having bandannas on and I like going to the groomers!

I am Hunny. I am the top dog. I LOVE my Daddy. Mom takes care of me, but I am Daddy's girl. I tolerate the other dog. I don't know why they keep Copper and I am still trying to figure out why they got that Molly. I love children. Their little hands are perfect for petting me. I love suntanning and taking long naps. I wish they would let me hunt. That is what I REALLY love to do! It's so much fun! As far as naps go, my favorite

place to nap was at Grandma and Pappa Cheney's house. There was a nice PappaSan chair there. The last time that we were there, I looked all over for it! I don't know where it went! Grandma said that when Mom and Dad get a house that she will buy a new one for me. I think that she hid it somewhere. I am going to look for it again when we go back down to Georgia. I know that it's got to be there. They don't want to disappoint me! I am a little princess. I should get what I want! What I want most of all is to be petted. I will sit in your lap all day if you pet me. I just wish they would get rid of the other two. I am the best dog!
