On October 7th, 1998, the WB network premiered Charmed, which has now became one of the most watched shows today. Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, (& Rose McGowan) star in this hit show, as three sisters that just found out their witches. As the three sisters reunite and unlock their powers to become the Charmed Ones - the most powerful witches to exist. Now they must vanquish evil and save innocents while living their lives as normal women in the real world. Over the next three years, the Halliwell sisters learned and grew into their craft, discovering powers beyond their imaginations and a bond that had nearly been lost. But even as they grew closer and learned to enjoy their new occupations, they still had to live their lives as normal women, with heartaches and lost loved ones. Many things started to change after those three years. Prue, the oldest of the Charmed sisters, found success in a career that involved Photography. Piper was finally able to marry their whitelighter Leo & own her own club P3 not to mention have a baby boy (Wyatt Matthew Halliwell), and Phoebe fell in love with the Cole (half demon & half mortal). Unfortunately when their secret was revealed Piper was killed. In order to save her, Phoebe had to turn back time, which saved Piper but led to the death of their oldest sister Prue. As the two remaining Halliwells struggled to cope with the loss of their sister and their diminished powers, they were stunned to find that they had a half sister named Paige. Slowly they brought her into the family and now she too lives in the Halliwell manor, fighting a constant battle against an evil that will never leave them. As they do, they will be forced to stick together and continue their destiny, not just for themselves, but for the one that they lost. |
