| Penny Halliwell, "Grams" is the mother of Patty Halliwell, and the grandmother of the Charmed Ones. Grams is very responsible and very powerful. She was one of the upmost powerful witches. Grams had the power telekinesis. Which means she could move things with her hands. Grams raised the Charmed Ones since their were just toddlers. After Patty died she had to. After Patty died, Grams did not feel that her grandaughters should still have their powers at such a young age, especially since they were not ready for their destiny yet. So she binded their powers, only when she unbinded them or died will they get them back. She was planning on giving them back to them when they were ready and old enough, but unfortunately when they got older they were anything but ready. Grams saw this and was tempted to strip their powers permanently. But when she was going downstairs to give them the striping potion, she had a heart attack and fell down the stairs. Unfortunately at that moment she died. The girls were left alone (at that time they were already in their 20's). Phoebe decided to leave and try out her talents in New York, and Prue and Piper stayed in the Manor. Phoebe soon moved back and that's when the girls found out they were the Charmed Ones. Since then Grams has been helping the girls find spells, and everything else as much as possible. |
