SERVICE FOR SIGHT
Delta Gamma's National Philanthropy

Delta Gamma's Philanthropy, Service for sight, provides aid and service to those within the visually impaired community. Delta Gamma's work for the visually impaired is unique among philanthropies as member strive to answer the needs within their own communities as well as on the international scene.
Members of the Gamma Rho chapter help to improve Delta Gamma's sight conservation and aid program by putting forth hundreds of service hours each semester.  Sisters visit a local elementary school in order to provide aid to the visually impaired classroom and record books on tape as well as create many "touch-and-feel" books. Visits to local nursing homes always bring a smile to the faces of the visually impaired residents.
Delta Gamma's largest fundraiser, Anchor Splash is hosted every spring. This aquatic event is full of games and obstacles created in order to raise money for Service For Sight.   All sororities, fraternities, campus groups, and individuals are encouraged to attend.
