Wine Covered Flagstones

Draco Malfoy hated exams. He hated them more than anything. Well, not more than his father’s disappointment, but they came a close second. After all, they usually fueled the disappointment.

Furthermore, he hated Charms. Charms were stupid, and uncouth. They were for lowbrow, peasants. The upper class had no need for them, what with having house-elves and all.

Probably explains why Weasley’s so good at them.

At the moment, Draco was not happy to be combining exams and Charms. In O.W.L. form, no less. Not to mention that he was being required to perform a first year spell.

Stupid examiner, he thought and scowled at said person. What kind of stupid name is Marchbanks anyway?

Across the Great Hall, the doors opened and someone walked up to an examiner near him. Draco turned his face to see who it was. Once he registered it was Harry Potter, his usual scowl appeared on his face. Four thoughts ran through his mind in quick succession.

Great, it’s Potter.

Good Lord, he is so gorgeous.

I really want him.

Holy shit! I did not just think that.

There was a crash of broken glass and wine splashed over the flagstones.
