| Valerie grew up on the west coast of Florida, but now resides on Long Island. Aside from being an artist, she is also a Reiki Master as well as a published poet and writer. She lives with her husband and two Golden Retrievers on the south shore of Nassau. Valerie is Leo with Scorio Ascendant. In the Ascendant, Scorpio is known as the Scorpion and also the Phoenix, thus the name of Valerie's Art gallery Phoenix Rising.
