Nick has been a keen photographer from an early age, ever since inheriting his father's old bronica fixed lens camera at around 10 years old. By 18 he had received as a gift his first Canon 850 EOS system, as basic as this was it served it's purpose for 10 years. The preferred choice of camera today is the Canon Elan 7e, with Canon Rebel 2000 as a backup.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Surveying from the Nottingham Trent University, UK. He worked as a surveyor in the UK for 5 years before taking up residence in Colorado, USA. Photography knowledge has come from reading, field experience, and some one-on-one field workshops in Colorado.
Nick's wife Sonci has supported his photography by getting up at the crack of dawn on numerous occasions to shoot sunrise. She has been nicknamed the "Art Director" for her ability to spot photo oppportunities. Sonci is yet to break into the world of photography, but is keen to give it a go. |
