Star Shaped Tears

Part 3

{Duo}

I took my eyes off the screen when I felt Heero get up from his seat. I watched him run from the theater with his left hand covering his mouth. I too stood from my seat and dashed after him.

I enter the bathroom and the sound of retching was heard in one of the stalls. "Heero, you in here?"

"Yeah.. ." he threw up again.

"Are you all right? Did the movie upset you?"

"No.. ." he flushed the toilet and walked out. He looked so pale and lost. He approached the sink and turned on the water. Scooping it within his hands, he gently slashed it on his face.

I walked over to him and rubbed small circles on his back, "What caused that?"

"I think food was bad." He looked at me with tired Prussian eyes, "Do you mind if we just go home?"

"I think that's a good idea. Do you want to try walking or do you want to call a cab?"

"I think I can walk. The fresh air might do me some good."

"All right." I stop rubbing his back and take his arm, "Then lets get you home.. ."

We entered the apartment a half an hour later. Unfortunately for my lover he got sick about three times on the way back and threw up all over the sidewalk. And now he was in the bathroom cleaning himself off.

"What's wrong with Heero?" a quiet voice asked.

I turned away from the bathroom and saw Quatre standing behind me, "He got sick at the movie theater. He said it was the food that we had for dinner, but for some reason I don't believe him."

"What movie did you see?"

"That new sci-fi, drama 'Innocence of Adolescence'."

"I heard that's the must see movie of the month. You don't think that's what set him off, do you? I mean he's seen a lot worse in reality."

"I know, but I just can't ask him about it. for now I'll just never mind the reason and try helping him get better."

The blond smiled, "I think that's a good idea. I'll make him some tea to see if that helps. When he gets out of there tell him to go straight to bed. I'll bring the tea in a little while."

"Thanks man." I hugged him and then pulled away. Now realizing that something was a little off, "Where's Trowa?"

"He went out a little while ago. He should be back soon. Let me worry about my boyfriend, your attention lies elsewhere." He pointed to the bathroom.

I nodded and entered the bathroom. Heero sat on the toilet in his green tank top and spandex shorts, his head was downcast and he seemed to be in deep thought. I knelt down in front of him and placed my hand gently on his cheek, "Feelin' better?"

"Not really."

"Do you want to go to bed or are you going to puke again?"

"My stomach feels a little better now, but.. ."

"Why don't you try and get some rest. Quatre's making some tea for you, can your stomach handle it?"

"It should be able too and sleep sounds kind of nice right about now."

"Okay, I'll tell you what. You go to bed and I'll bring the tea in when it's done."

"All right." He stood slowly from the toilet then cautiously made his way down the hall.

{Heero}

I shut the door about half way and approached the bed. As I sat down on the mattress my eyes turned their gaze to the window. For some reason the stars had calmed me down some, they always have. Ever since I was young.

I let out a low sigh as I lay my body down on the mattress. I can't believe that someone could make a movie that real and not even know it.. . My eyes had started to drift shut and what awaited me was something that I had not expected.

The sun beats down on me as I stand on a sandy beach. The waves crashed against the nearby rocks and brushed onto the shore. I take a step forward and I could feel the cool water under my feet. As I walk I see someone ahead of me.

The person wasn't wearing anything, which made it obvious to me that it was definitely female. Her long brown hair blew in the small breeze as her dark blue eyes were set on the waves. As I drew closer my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. I stood a few inches way from her and whispered, "Terra?"

She turned to me and let her gentle smile appear on her face, "Alden, do you remember this place?"

"This is where we used to come with mom and dad."

"Yeah." She pointed towards a small sandcastle that was starting to crumble, "We are no longer innocent children.. ."

"What's going on, Terra?"

She turned back to me and frowned. That look just made my heart sink. It was the same look that she had given me the day I left for Operation Meteor. "I've missed you, yet I cannot stay.. ."

"Terra?"

She embraced me and I could feel her tears hitting my shoulder, "I'll always love you, Alden. But I'm sorry."

"What's happening? Terra answer me!"

She pulled away and started to float in the air. I felt her grasp letting go. Her arms were still out stretched as she started to drift farther away from me and I could see her tears streaming down her delicate cheeks. "I have to go.. ." she whispered. Once she was out of sight I heard her whisper one last thing, "Goodbye, my dear brother.. ."

I sank to me knees on the verge of my own tears. I was alone again. All I ever wanted was to be happy with someone and share a piece of my soul with them. Whether it be family or a friend, but alas I have none.

I suddenly felt strong arms wrap themselves around me. I never would have imagined that such warmth could exist.

"Don't be sad, I'm here for you. As long as the stars still fill the sky, I'll be there with you.. ."

"Duo.. ." I look out of the corner of my eye and see that his hair is out of his braid and his violet eyes showed nothing, but love. I turn completely around and rested my head on his shoulder and place my left hand on the cool skin of his back.

"It's going to be okay, Heero. Just forget about those you need to protect and let me protect you.. ."

I pulled away from the boy, "You are not Duo."

"What are you talking about? Over course I'm Duo Maxwell. I run, I hide, but I'd never lie to you."

"The real Duo never lies to anyone! You are not MY Duo Maxwell! What have you done to my sister?!"

"I told you I am Duo and you don't need her anymore.. ." he wrapped his arms around me again. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't escape. "You are mine and mine alone.. ." he whispered into my ear.

"Let me go!!"

"There's nowhere you can run. You gave your heart to me and the rest of you is included as well." He licked the side of my neck. Within just that short moment, my world came crashing down.. .

"Let me go!" I shot straight up in my bed. I looked at the clock and saw that it was around midnight. I guess I was sleeping a lot longer than I thought.

I look to my side and see Duo, my Duo sleeping soundly. I move some of his bangs out of his face. I remove my hand from his hair and watched it tremble. I never would have thought that the person I love more than life could hurt me.

I slowly get out of my bed and quietly walked towards the door. I had to get out and think. Slowly opening the door I took one last look at my koi then I left the room.

I quickly put on my shoes once I entered the living room. I glanced around my surroundings making sure that all the lights were off, then sighing to myself I walked out of the apartment. TBC...

(*****Okay obviously the movie 'Innocence of Adolescence' is fake, but I had watched the Revolutionary Girl Utena Movie a few days pryer to writing this. This fic will be written kind of slowly and I apologize for that, but I really want to work on 'Waltz of the Moon' and some stuff that has to do with Quatre-Chan's son, Kou.
