For those of you who don't like the following
characters, that's just fine. I'm simply stating my opinion and I realize
yours may differ. I made sure that I haven't written anything that will
offend anyone. Truly, you're allowed to hate these people! I don't mind^-^

Amelia go?! Don't worry, she's still around. I've moved her to her
own page. I'm going to be doing this with the others too, so soon they'll
all have their own space! Happiness, ne?

Why they hate
her:
She's too submissive,
clings to Gourry, has not enough personality, is worthless to the group,
she has a bad dub voice.
Why I like her
anyway:
Oh, poor Sylphie!
She really gets it bad! Nobody loves Sylphiel, and there's no good reason
why not! She's absoultely sweet as anything. The fact that she's so submissive
only makes her even more sweet! She's not a total whimp. She speaks up
on occasion. The difference between people like her and people like Lina
is that she only speaks up when she feels it's truly important. This makes
people more inclined to listen to her when she does. And she cares about
Gourry a lot. They grew up together, of course she does! And maybe early
on in the series, she harbored feelings of love for Gourry, but she came
to accept the fact that he loved Lina at the end of Next, when he followed
Lina to bring her back from L-Sama. And she is NOT worthless! Don't ever,
EVER let anybody call you worthless, Sylphie, or anyone else for
that matter! Nobody is worthless! Sylphiel proves herself on several occasions.
It was her who protected the group with a magical barrier shield in tape
six when they had their first encounter with koppis. And who saved
Lina when no one else could?
The last
reason on the list sort of bothers me. Personally, I adore Sylphiel's dub
VA, I thought Stacia Crawford did a great job. But if some people don't
like it. Well, that's fine. It's all a matter of taste and opinion. But
a character's voice isn't a good reason to hate the whole person. That's
why they put out the subtitled version!

her:
She's obsessive,
psychotic, and completely inept, delusional
Why I like her
anyway:
All these things
are exactly why I like her! She's so completely goofy, it's hilarious!
The fact that
she can't seem to do anything right to save her soul is just so pathetic
it's funny. My heart really goes out to her sometimes. And anyone who make
their own god and truly BELIEVES in him is just plain kewl! Yeah, she's
obnoxious, but that's what makes her so much fun. I've always been fond
of the crazies. I guess cause I can relate ^-~

She's loud, obnoxious,
incredibly stupid, has an irritating laugh, and dresses like a tramp.
Why I think she's

Like Martina,
I adore Naga because she's so funny. Her sheer stupidity makes her so much
fun to watch! I love that she thinks she's so much better than Lina, but
really...she's just a total idiot. She makes me laugh all the time. ^-^
She dresses like she does cause, c'mon, it's the only thing she's got going
for her, so she figures she'd better use it. Although, if MY chest looked
like that, I'd be worried O.o
And
