Four teens charged after altercation

Four teenagers were charged Friday with willful injury following an assault across the street from Lincoln High School.

Two Lincoln students were injured. Jeff Sackpraseuth suffered an injury to his head that required stitches, and Tommy Lovan was hit in the back. Sackpraseuth was taken to Iowa Lutheran Hospital for treatment.

Police Sgt. Todd Dykstra said the four suspects apparently had some kind of altercation with the Lincoln students earlier in the week.

Police charged Linfong Moua, 19; Hao Tran, 16; Tinh Ha, 18; and Huy Tran, 17, with willful injury. Moua and Ha also were charged with going armed with intent to cause injury and criminal gang participation. None are Lincoln students.
