BANANA SPLIT CAKE

1 box Yellow Cake Mix (butter recipe is best)

Pepare according to directions on box. Pour in sheet cake pan. Bake.

When cake is done, turn cake out on wax paper, then using thread a little longer than end of cake, starting at 1 end of cake, split cake lengthwise in the middle using thread. You will now have 2 layers of cake. Move top layer in whatever you want to serve cake in. Top of cake taker from Tupperware works great.

Prepare 1 Box of Instant Vanilla Pudding as directed on package and spread on 1st layer of cake.
          

Slice 3 ripe bananas evenly on top of pudding. Put 2nd layer of cake on top of bananas.
Spread evenly 1 Large container or pkg. of thawed Strawberries on top of cake.
Serve with Cool Whip.
Optional: May sprinkle chopped pecans on top if desired.
