PEANUT BRITTLE

1/2 Stick Oleo
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup White Karo Syrup
2 Cups Raw Peanuts
1 Tea. Soda

Melt oleo in iron skillet, add sugar and
white syrup. Stir until dissolved, add peanuts. Cook over High heat from 5-7 minutes (cook 1 minute after first peanut pops), but do not let brown. Remove from stove and stir in soda. Pour onto well greased cookie sheet.
