This is a great introductory book for the novice. For the more expeirenced it makes a very nice reference book. It lists individual herbs & their uses & usually provides dosages. If you are just getting started & can only buy one book, this is the one.

This provides a wealth of information about individual & combinations of herbs. It is nice in that it lists the herbs primary uses then also gives a list of secondary uses.

An excellent book for those who wish to grow & market their herbs. It gives detailed growing & harvesting instructions & even offers instructions on how & even where to sells your herbs.
      Peterson Field Guides
       for Medicinal Plants
These are a series of field guides to medicinal plants. You pick your area. This is the best book I have found for identifying native plants. It provides color photos & tells the plants uses & habitant. A must for the serious wildcrafter.
