No matter what people say, Lindsay does love her children. I am positive that she has acted in the way she thought would protect her children. Surely, even her talks with herself aren't fake. When Will told his mother that he and Jen would have to deal with this Colin mess on their own, and that she could not 'protect them forever', she waited until he was gone and she said, "Oh yes I can." That statement was not made to anyone else, to try to convince THEM she was doing what she was doing for her children, it was said to herself. And now, knowing what she thought SHE knew, I am convinced that when she was 'tampering' with the hair samples, she was planning to switch Jen's hair for her own, because she was afraid that it was Jen's hair under Colin's fingernails. And in all of her time in Llanview, the only time she has NOT been obsessed with 'getting Nora' has been when one of her children were in trouble and she was worried about them. She may not be the 'Mother of the Year', but she has a heart for her children, and that represents the best part of Lindsay Rappaport. |
