Sam And Lindsay:  Their Daughter's Wedding Day brings them Together
Sam: Hey. Hey. Hey, hey, hey.
Lindsay: It just seemed like yesterday we were holding her in our arms.
Sam: Yeah, yeah. I know. Now she's getting married.
Lindsay: At least i'm here for it this time.
Sam: Yeah, I noticed that you lent jen your mother's necklace.
Lindsay: I gave it to her.
Sam: Oh, lindsay, that's -- I know how much that means to you.
Lindsay: Well, it's the least i can do after all the mistakes i've made with her, most of which she's still paying for.
Sam: What mistakes are we talking about here?
Lindsay: This is not the place to talk about my dysfunction.
Sam: No, you brought it up. You said that she's still paying for your mistakes.
Lindsay: I just meant that as a mother, i could have been there more for her. Why do you think she couldn't wait to go to school in europe?
Sam: Well, what's that got to do with now?
Lindsay: I should have been there when she needed me, like when she found out she was pregnant.
Sam: Well, it's not as if you could have prevented that from happening.
Lindsay: You never know.
Sam: Well, how? How? What, by breaking them up? I know you've never been cristian's biggest fan, but it's -- she loves him. It's what she wants. So that's what's important to remember right now.
Lindsay: It is what she wants. I just hope it's what makes -- what makes her happy. What are you looking at me like that for?
Sam: Because....because I think you 're a better mother than you think you are.
