Lindsay: Yeah. Wait a minute. I just -- I've been saving this for you for your wedding day. |
Jen: Mom, you're not going to do the "something old, something new" thing, are you? |
Lindsay: Well, it's definitely something old. I want you to have it. |
Jen: Mom, this is your favorite. |
Lindsay: Yeah, your grandmother gave it to me right before she died. I was still a little girl, and that's all i have left of her. |
Jen: I can't take this. |
Lindsay: Oh, please take it. Please take it for me, ok? After she died, I felt so alone i didn't think that I was going to be able to bear it. I never did. But whenever i felt bad, i would take this out and look at it and I -- i knew that no matter what, my mom always loved me. And I want you to know that, too. No matter what, all the mistakes i've ever made, you are the one thing that i did right. I love you so much. All I've ever wanted was for you to be happy. |
Jen: I want that for both of us. |
