JOSH GRIFFITH AND MICHAEL MALONE RETURN TO ABC DAYTIME'S ONE LIFE TO LIVE

New Writers At OLTL...But they've been there before....

Three-time Emmy Award-winning writer Josh Griffith has been named headwriter of the ABC Television Networks Daytime drama One Life to Live effective November 4, 2002.  Mr. Griffith will once again team with Emmy Award winner and critically acclaimed novelist Michael Malone, who has been named creative consultant for One Life To Live, also effective November 4.  "This writing team have distinguished themselves with the caliber and passion of their storytelling."  says Brian Frons, President, ABC Daytime.  "I am looking for Josh and Michael to tell quality, diverse stories leveraging the strengths that exist on the canvas, many of which were created by the team  I am proud to welcome Josh and Michael back to ABC Daytime, and to One Life To Live."

OLTL Names new Executive Producer

....and they wrote great stuff for Rev. Carpenter.  Maybe we will get to see more of him in the future? Let's hope so!

One Live To Live has named former senior supervising producer, Frank Valentini, as new Executive Producer effective yesterday, November 14th.  Also, new headwriter Josh Griffith and co-headwriter Lorraine Broderick officially started their work yesterday.  Expect that the stories written by the new writers will start airing during the February sweeps.

The role of Jessica Buchanan will be recast, as the current actress playing that part, Erin Torpey, has decided to leave the show to pursue other interests.  Some say her last air date will be in  Jan or Feb, but others say we will see the 'new' Jessica by years end. This will be a tough act to folow, IMO.
