Link's Trading Sequence

Link's Trading Sequence in Oracle of Ages is a long, but rewarding process. At times it can be difficult, which is why this section is here. If you're stuck, you're in luck! Confused? I'm willing to help you out if you are.

Poe Clock - To find the Poe Clock you'll need the Power Bracelet. Lift the rock by the ghost in the graveyard, then push the headstone up. Go downstairs and talk to the ghost to recieve you reward. Give it to the postman in Lynna Village in the past to recieve the stationery.
Stationery - As in Majora's Mask, the hand in the toilet needs... well, anything, and the stationery will do just fine. The hand is in the small shack on the western side of the village.
Stink Bag - Normally you probably wouldn't want to go near a Stink Bag, especially if it's from someone that's on the toilet. But in this case, if you take it to the present, someone will take it off your hands. To get rid of it, take it to the stuffed-up Tokay in the hut on the southeast corner of Crescent Island. He'll give you the tasty meat in return.
Tasty Meat - The Happy Mask Salesman returns (again) with a problem; he's hungry. Take the tasty meat to the shop just west of Lynna City.
Doggie Mask - The Happy Mask Salesman will give you the doggie mask (makes sense) in exchange for the tasty meat. Mamamu Yan, whose house is just behind the Black Tower, has a very ugly dog. Give her the mask to make the dog look better, and you'll get a dumbbell.
Dumbbell - To get rid of the dumbbell, you'll have to take it all the way back to Symmetry Village 400 years ago. Give it to the man who only has one dumbbell, and you'll get the cheesy mustache.
Cheesy Mustache - The funny man in present-day Lynna City wants a new joke. Give him the cheesy mustache, and he'll reward you with a funny joke.
Funny Joke - Dekadin, in Lynna Village in the past, is depressed. Tell him the funny joke, and he'll give you the touching book.
Touching Book - This part you can do in the past or present, but you may have to wait a while (unless you're lucky). Give the touching book to Maple by running into her while she's flying around (if you don't already know, Maple is the which riding a broomstick who appears randomly). She'll be so touched that she'll give you a magic oar.
Magic Oar - Who better to give the magic oar to than someone named Rafton? His house is in the past, and just south of Lynna Village.
Sea Ukelele - Rafton will give you the sea ukelele in exchange for the magic oar. Take the ukelele to the old Zora in the cave by the Sea of No Return, just east of Lynna Village. In return, he'll give you a broken sword.
Broken Sword - The final item is also the hardest to get rid of. You have to give it to Patch, the man who fixed Symmetry Village's Tuni Nut. Since getting to him is the hard part, I'll give you directions:
Start at the center of Symmetry Village in the past. Go left, down the ladder, and left some more until you reach an owl statue. Stand at least two spaces in front of it, and warp to the present. From here, go as far south as you possibly can. When you've gone as far as you can go, turn right and climb up the first staircase you see. Lift the rock (if you don't have the Tune of Ages), and warp back to the past. Once there, go down the stairs and push the green bulb from the left patch of dirt to the right one. Go back up the stairs and into the cave. You'll come to a choice between two doors. Take the right one, and push the block left. Go back into the cave, down the stairs, and outside where the bulb is. Warp to the present. Climb up the vine, swim through the pond (if you don't see a pond, go back to the past and push the block the other way), up the stairs, and down the set of stairs to the left. Now warp for a final time to the past. Now simply follow the path until you get to a wall covered in vines. You'll have to make it to the top of this wall, and then enter the cave. Agree to play Patch's game, and if you win he'll fix you a Noble Sword! Trust me, it's well worth the effort.
