Walkthrough - Oracle of Seasons - The Land of Hyrule

Walkthrough

This is the Walkthrough for Oracle of Seasons, the second of two games in the Oracle series to be released for Game Boy Color. If you see any typos or mistakes tell me about them. Keep in mind that I've used the name "Link" in this walkthrough, and not anything else you might call your file.

Link falls through darkness as the message "Accept our quest, hero!" appears on the screen. He appears in a field and is approached by a girl. The screen will flash and he'll appear next to a carriage.
Move right one screen. Talk to everyone.
Man with cup: You're awake! Please! Relax-- Join our jovial troupe of performers for a bit!
Girl: Din is a popular dancer. Just seeing her dance raises one's spirits!
Man with guitar: Din has been caring for you since she found you. She's strong-willed but very kindhearted.
Man with cup 2: Ah... Din always looks so lovely! But she seems smitten with you. I'm jealous.
Impa: Oh! Your eyes have opened! Are you all right? I am Impa, the troupe's cook. And you are? Link? I see. Din, the dancing girl, found you collapsed in the woods. She's cared for you through your nightmares.
Now talk to Din.
Din: You've awakened! Good! I worried while you slept! You're Link, right? How do you do, Link? I am Din. I saw a red flash in the woods, and when I went to see what it was... You were lying there. Mystery surrounds you, Link. I'm just glad you're better! Come! Why don't you dance with me?
Talk to her again.
Din: Don't be shy! Dancing will be fun!
Link is shown dancing with Din.
Din: That was fun! You're a good dancer! It's been some time since I had such fun! Hey! Your left hand! It has a triangle on it. That is a sacred mark in Hyrule. If it's the true symbol, then you are a hero with a special fate, Link. A special fate! Link, I... Umm... Nothing! Let us dance!
They start dancing when lightning strikes the ground multiple times.
Onox: Hya, ha, ha! I've found you, Din, Oracle of Seasons! You hid yourself well but you cannot escape Onox, General of Darkness!
Lightning strikes the ground and a tornado appears. It blows everyone except Link and Din off the screen. Link approaches the tornado.
Onox: Get out of my way, boy!
The tornado moves Link out of the way.
Din: HAAA! Link!
He gets up and runs at the tornado, but it just blows him away. The tornado then disappears. The scene cuts to Onox's Castle, where Din is chained to a rock.
Din: What do you plan to do with me?!?
Onox: As you know, if I imprison the Oracle of Seasons and bury the temple that houses the Season Spirits, the seasons of Holodrum will be cast into chaos, the bountiful gifts of nature will rot, and all living things perish!!! That is the world of darkness that I long for!
Din: No, Onox! No!
Onox: GWAH, HAH, HAH!
Four crystal surround Din and the screen turns white.
Din: Yaaaaa!
She appears as a giant crystal.
Onox: Down, Temple of Seasons!!! Spring, summer, fall, winter... Fall into chaos!
A temple in the distance is shown caving into the ground. The seasons get all mixed up.
Onox: GWAH, HAH, HAH!
Link appears in a field in winter. Impa walks over to him.
Impa: Link! Are you all right? Actually, I am the nurse of Hyrule's Princess Zelda. And Din's no dancer either. She is actually the Oracle of Seasons who wields control over the forces of nature. Zelda has mystical powers that told of a curtain of shadow drawing around Din. I was instructed to take her to Hyrule in secret. Zelda gave me this quest... But, ow! I've been wounded, and I won't be able to travel for some time... Link, I know not why you were lying in the woods, but... You and Din were fated to meet. If the triangle on your hand is real, then you may be the hero who will save the world. Please! Use your power to aid Din! Please take my message to the Maku Tree in Horon Village. The Maku Tree is the guardian of all Holodrum. Surely he can help.
Move down one screen, then go west. Follow the path until you get to the beach. Now look for a cave which has decorations beside it. When you find it, enter it. A message will pop up on the screen that says "Hero's Cave". Move east, and in the next room simply push the block to open all the doors. Go up, and in the next room, make your way down the path while pushing the blocks out of the way. In the room after that, press the switch and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to find a key. Now head back to the room where you had to push a block and push it again. With all the doors open, head south. Unlock the door in the next room. In the room after that, step on the switch to open the door, then go through it. Open the treasure chest and you will get the Wooden Sword. The screen will flash and you will appear outside of the cave. Follow the path back to Horon Village. Look for a wooden gate on the east side of the village and hit it with your sword. The gate will open. Walk through it, and on the next screen, pop the bubble being blown by the tree. It will wake up.
Maku Tree: Hwaaa...... Wh-who's that? Did you wake me? Who are you? Hmm... What?!? Din was taken while I slept? There's no sign of the Temple of Seasons?!? This is awful!!! Guarding the oracle is my duty... Alas, how I've withered! What's to be done, Link? With the seasons in chaos, the land is robbed of the very essence of nature, draining all of my might! Can you save Din in my stead? It is all this Maku Tree has ever asked! I sense evil on the Northern Peak, where the Temple of Seasons rested! Onox has cast a shadow on the Northern Peak. I think you will find him there. You'll need the eight Essences of Nature that lie sleeping in Holodrum. Gathering all eight is the only option. The essences possess the sacred power of nature, with which you can break the shadow barrier and save Din. Shall I repeat it?
Yes - What's to be done...
No - Then I give you this key. Go to the giant root near the lake up north! The first essence should be there, but I'd expect some resistance. Be careful! I'll just--ahhm, rest until--ohh, no energy... ZZZ
A key appears and the Maku Tree falls asleep. Pick up the Gnarled Key and head back to where Impa found you. Keep moving as far north as you can and you'll come to a bridge. Cross it and you'll find a keyhole. Insert the key and the screen will shake and a tree with an opening will come out of the ground. Go inside.
Gnarled Root Dungeon
A message will pop up on the screen that says "Level 1 Gnarled Root Dungeon". Move forward a room and push the block in the upper-right corner to open all the doors. Go left and defeat all the enemies. A key will appear. Pick it up and head west. In the once-locked room defeat all the enemies and a treasure chest will appear and the doors will open. Go up and jump in the cart. When you get off, climb onto the ledge and hit the switch one screen over. Jump back into the cart and you'll be taken three rooms right. When the ride is over, go back a room and open the treasure chest to get some bombs. Go back to the cart and climb onto the ledge. Move over to the right side of the room and step on the switch to make a treasure chest appear. Open it to find a key. Climb back onto the ledge and go left. Blow up the cracked wall and go to the next room. Carefully make your way to the locked door at the north side of the room. In the next room, you'll have to fight two enemies.
Moblin 1: Growrrr! You cannot pass!
Keep hitting them until they disappear. When they do, a warp will appear. Walk into it. Light the torches on the left side of the room to open the door. In the next room defeat all the enemies to make a treasure chest appear. Grab the Boss Key inside, then go back one room. Move south, then go as far right as you can. In the last room, light the two torches at the top to open the door. Go through it and make your way to the right side of the next room. Unlock the door and enter the next room. A giant dragon will float down from the ceiling and attack.
Boss Fight: Aquamentus
All you have to do here is avoid Aquamentus' slow attacks and hit the horn on top of its head. You should be careful, however, as it sometimes launches three fireballs at you. When you've defeated it, go to the next room and pick up the Fertile Soil. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Hwaaah... It's me, the Maku Tree. Some of the Fertile Soil has come to me, too. I already feel stronger. Oh, in my dreams, I saw the Temple of Seasons in a strange land I do not know. There I saw a precious item that will aid you, Link. That is all I can see now... Hohm... hmm...
From here, go to the eastern edge of Horon Village. Look for two saplings that can be burned down with Ember Seeds. Just before you can do that, Sokra will talk to you.
Sokra: Wait, young traveler. I'm a wandering prophet, Sokra. Ahh... I feel it! Spring, summer, autumn, winter! The four spirits are calling you! Make no mistake! The Temple of Seasons is still hidden in this world! If you can find the temple, then pay a visit to the spirits who live there. Surely they can help. Farewell!
Burn down one of the saplings and continue on. Head north and you'll eventually come across a Subrosian.
Rosa: It's terrible! A "temple," like fell into Subrosia! Umm, what's a "temple"? Subrosia is a secret place. I must return in secret, without being seen!!!
She runs off. Follow her, but don't let her see you. Be careful on the third screen - she'll walk off the screen, then reappear a few seconds later, so wait for her to disappear twice before you attempt to follow her. On the next screen, she'll disappear into a bush. Chop down the bush and step into the Subrosian warp. You will be transported to the subterranean world of Subrosia. First, go west and when you come to a staircase, use it. You'll appear in the Dance Hall. Play the dance mini-game, and if you win, you'll get a boomerang. Now head as far east as you can and you'll come across a huge temple. On your way in the Season Spirits will talk to you.
Spirit of Winter: You've finally come. When the temple was buried, I thought perhaps you wouldn't come to see me.
Spirit of Autumn: This Temple of Seasons is where we four spirits reside.
Spirit of Summer: I've waited a long time for you. Do you like spring? Or summer? Fall, perhaps?
Spirit of Winter: But no! You must love winter! Get the Rod of Seasons and visit us who wait in each of the four corner towers!
Go directly north to enter the main part of the temple. Keep moving forward. Climb onto the altar and four lights will appear in each corner of the room. They will combine in front of you and you'll get the Rod of Seasons.
Spirit of Winter: Now bring the Rod of Seasons to us Season Spirits in the four towers!
Now go into the southeast tower. First, use the boomerang to hit the crystal switch. A bridge will form. Go upstairs twice and approach the statue and a fairy will appear.
Spirit of Winter: Thank you for coming, child of the crested hand. The Spirit of Winter has been waiting for you. Din is our dear friend... Now, let me bestow the power of the Spirit of Winter on the rod in hold! When you swing the rod from atop a stump, the seasons shall change. In winter, the waters freeze and the snows pile up... Visit the other three spirits, too. Please hurry to Din's aid.
The screen flashes and Link holds up the Rod of Seasons. You now have the power of winter. When you leave the tower, leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: So the item was actually the Rod of Seasons! New roads will surely open with its power! I dreamt of woods in the east... There may be an essence there! Link, can you go for me?
Go back to Holodrum. On the next screen, you'll see Sokra.
Sokra: That's it! You have the Rod of Seasons! If that Rod of Seasons held the powers of the Season Spirits, you could change the seasons! But I see it has only the power of winter. Hmm... Swing the rod from atop that stump. Itspower will be unleashed! Do you understand?
Yes - If the Temple of Seasons has sunk into some land called Subrosia, there must be other entrances to the Subrosian land!
Not really - If that Rod of Seasons...
(After choosing "Yes")
Sokra: You must find them! Perhaps you will even go to the Temple of Seasons again. So we part!
He leaves. Jump onto the tree stump and use the rod. Now that it is winter, the lake will freeze and you will be able to cross it. Head as far east as you can, then as far north as you can. When you reach a small house, head west and use the rod on the next tree stump you see. Climb onto the ledge and go right. Cross the pile of snow and jump down the chimney of the house. You'll come rolling out the fireplace. Talk to the girl inside.
Girl: AHH! ! ! You startled me! Winter sets in all of a sudden, then down my chimney comes... You're not Santa! You don't scare me! Now take this shovel and clear the snow from my walkway! Keep the shovel when you're done.
Head south, then west and use the rod at the first tree stump you come across. Go left one more screen, then go up. Dig the snow out of the way and go right. Follow the path and you'll come to an opening surrouned by what resembles a face carved into the side of the wall. Enter it.
Snake's Remains
A message will pop up on the screen that says "Level 2 Snake's Remains". Go left and then up a room. Defeat all the enemies and a key will appear. Pick it up, then head back to the first room. Light the two torches to open the door at the north side of the room, then go through it. Go north as far as you can, and in the last room, defeat all the enemies by knocking them into the pits. When you've done so, the door will open. Go through it and defeat all the enemies (bombs work well here). When you've done so, a treasure chest will appear. Open it and you'll get the Power Bracelet. Go back to the room with the arrow pointing left and defeat all the enemies. Now go right. Defeat all the enemies in the next room, then push the block farthest to the right one space right. Go right one more room. Get the key from the treasure chest. Now move down one room. Here, push the blue rollers over by using the Power Bracelet (you have to hold A while you push) and make your way to the staircase at the bottom left part of the room. Once you've ascended the staircase, you'll be outside. Move one screen left and go down the stairs. A message will pop up on the screen that says "Level 2 Snake's Remains". Before you go move on, equip some bombs because you'll have to use them, and use them quickly. In the next room, quickly work your way around to the treasure chest in the middle by blowing up the cracked blocks in your way. If you're too slow, the treasure chest will disappear and you'll have to start all over again. If you're quick, you'll be rewarded with a key. Go back outside and down the other set of stairs. When you do, a message will pop up on the screen that says "Level 2 Snake's Remains". Go up and right one room. Blow up the cracked blocks in the middle to reach the staircase. When you're out of the tunnel, head as far right as you can, then down a room. You now have to fight a giant face. All you have to do is avoid its attacks and throw bombs at it. When you've defeated it, a warp will appear and the two doors will open. Go as far right as you can, then one room down. Use the sliding green platforms to reach the stairs on the right side of the room, then climb on to the ledge. Follow it to a treasure chest inside of which is the Boss Key. From here, move left two rooms and blow up the cracked wall (it will be surrounded by pots). In the next room, use bombs to defeat all the enemies and the door on the right side of the room will open. Go through it, then through the turnstile to the south room. Use the sliding green platforms to make your way across the room, then go through the locked door.
Boss Fight: Dodongo
To defeat Dodongo, wait until it opens its mouth and toss a bomb inside. If you're not quick enough, it'll spit fireballs at you, so watch out. If you get it to eat a bomb, it will be stunned for a few seconds. Quickly pick it up and toss it onto the spikes in the middle of the room. Repeat this pattern a few times to win. Once you've won, go to the next room and pick up the Gift of Time. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Thank you, Link. I, too, recieved part of the Gift of Time! I just dreamt of Spool Swamp out west. Something is afoot there. But I can see no more... Hohhm...
Go to Horon Village and head as far north as you can. You'll end up at a tree growing Scent Seeds. From here go one screen right and one screen down. Enter the building and talk to the creature inside.
Blaino
: I'm da legendary champ, Blaino! You want somt'in'? Den earn it in da ring! Will you bet 10 Rupees?
Agree to fight him.
Blaino: (If you lose) If yer mad, tell it to yer fists! Huh? Once more?
(If you win) Hyuh!!! I lost! Yer firsts are golden, kid! You da new champ! Here! Take dese.
You will get Ricky's Gloves. Move up, left, and down one screen, then go left again. Follow the path and go as far left as you can. When you can't go any further go up a screen and talk to Ricky.
Ricky: I'm Ricky! Spool Swamp is my backyard. If you go south from here, then around and back up, there it is. I'd go with you, but I can't do a thing without my gloves... A guy named Blaino took them when I lost a match to him. Th-those are my gloves! You brought them back? Thank you! But if you beat Blaino, you must be tough. What's your name? Link? Cool name! I'm Ricky. Nice to meet ya! Here, Link, take this flute. If you need me, just play the flute. I'll try to find you.
You will get Ricky's Flute.
Ricky: First, I'll take you to Spool Swamp. Get in my pouch!
Link will jump into his pouch.
Ricky: Press A to punch, or save power to unleash a tornado. I can also jump small holes or cliffs.
Go south. When you reach a set of pits Ricky will talk to you again.
Ricky: If you move toward a hole, I'll just jump right over. I can clear one hole easy. Give it a try.
Keep moving south. Follow the path until you reach a cliff.
Ricky: A cliff like that is one leap. I'll jump if you move up to it, so give it a try.
Jump up the wall and keep going. When you go past the tree growing Pegasus Seeds make sure to take some. Continue along the path until you reach a wall to the north. Move right one screen and enter the house. Hit the switch in the bottom right corner and the small pool will drain. Pick up the Floodgate Key.
Floodgate Keeper: Oh! That's where I left it! That should open the floodgates. You can get to the keyhole from that puddle outside.
Go outside and down the stairs. Step on the switch in the cave, then use a Pegasus Seed to quickly run across the bridge before it disappears. On the next screen, push the first green block up and the second one down. Pick up the rock, then push the bottom block left and the one above it up. Go up the stairs and make your way through the cave. Once you're outside, go as far south as you can, then go one screen right. Put the Floodgate Key into the keyhole and the floodgates will open releasing the water. Go back through the cave and jump into Ricky's pouch. Go down the stairs into the area that was flooded before the floodgates were opened. If you're using Ricky go as far south as you can, then turn left and jump up the cliff. Follow the path and go north when you see an opening in the trees. Move the rock out of your way and step into the Subrosian warp. If you're using Moosh go as far south as you can and turn left. Float over the two pits, then follow the path as far south as you can. You'll now have to move left for a bit. Go north at the first opening you see, and step into the Subrosian warp. If you're using Dimitri, simply keep moving south through the deep water, then turn left when you can't go south anymore and then go north. Once you're in Subrosia, move down to the beach area. Dig all over the place until you find a piece of Star-Shaped Ore. Take it to the Subrosian Market and trade it for the ribbon. Go to the southeast corner of the beach and talk to Rosa.
Rosa: What a cute Ribbon. Is it for me?
Yep - Wow! Like, thank you!
Nope - Ohh! I, like, want a Ribbon!
After choosing "Yep" she'll put on the ribbon.
Rosa: Since you're so nice, I'll go on a date with you. Let's go look in that "temple."
Head north past the Market to find some locked doors. Rosa will unlock them for you. Head for the temple and unlock the northwest tower. Once inside, move the rocks out of your way to reach the staircase. Go upstairs twice and approach the statue and a fairy will appear.
Spirit of Summer: You have come, adorable hero. I am the Spirit of Summer. In summer, vines grow tall and creeks dry up. Remember that. Ancient Hyrulean legends say the hero destined to overthrow evil has a triangle on his left hand. Perhaps you are this hero. Now... I grant you the power of the Spirit of Summer!
The screen flashes and Link holds up the Rod of Seasons. You now have the power of summer. Step back into the warp through which you came into Subrosia. Now go north past where the floodgate was and turn left. Jump onto the tree stump and change the season to summer. Now go up a screen and climb the vines growing on the cliff.
Poison Moth's Lair
A message will pop up on the screen that says "Level 3 Poison Moth's Lair". Before you move on, make sure you have a shield. Move forward a room and use the shield to defeat the Spiked Beetles by flipping them over and slashing them. The door at the north side of the room will open. Go through the door and continue moving as far right as you can. When you reach the room farthest right, you'll need to push a pot onto the switch to hold the door open. In the next room go left, then down. Make your way over to the treasure chest and open it to get a key. Go back up and right a room, then go up the stairs. Move over to the blocks on the left and push the block third from the bottom over to the left. Then move the block second from the wall out of your way and head left. Here, push the two statues farthest to the left down. Then push the first and second (from the right) red statues down. Now push the two red statues as far to the right as you can. Push the third red statue into the wall, then move the remaining statue into place. The door on the left will now open. Continue moving to the left until you can't anymore. Now move as far north as you can. In the last room, defeat all the enemies and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to get Roc's Feather. Go down a room and jump onto the moving green platform. Fall down the pit next to the wall. Go up the stairs and make your way through the tunnel. Once you're out of it, push the trampoline onto the pink tile and jump on it. Now move as far right as you can. You'll eventually reach a staircase. Take it and you'll end up in another room with a trampoline. Push it onto the orange block and jump on it to reach a room with a treasure chest. Take the key and jump back down. Go down the stairs and make your way to the other end of the tunnel. Climb the ladder to leave, then use the green platform to get across the pit. From here, move right, down, and left a room. Here, jump over the switch to prevent the floor from collapsing. Go through the locked door at the other end of the room and you'll have to fight a group of squids. Watch where the whirlpools form, then use the Power Bracelet to take them out of the water, toss them off to the side, and slash them. You'll have to act fast, though, or you'll get hit by fireballs. When they're all gone, a warp will appear, as will a staircase. Go up the stairs, then head as far left as you can. Jump across the gap, then fall into the pit. Push the fifth block from the top into the pit, then jump over it to reach the treasure chest. Open it to get the Boss Key. Push the block at the bottom of the room to the right, then go one room right, up, then as far right as you can, then one room down and as far left as you can. Go up the stairs and jump across the first gap you see. Follow the path to reach a locked door. Unlock it and move into the next room.
Boss Fight: MothulaAll you have to do here is stand on one of the two middle platforms and hit Mothula as many times as you can before it starts flying around the room. When it does start flying around, be sure to avoid its fireballs. If you fall into the pit, simply jump on the trampoline to boost yourself back up. When you've defeated Mothula, a staircase will appear. Take it, then move up a room. Take the
Bright Sun. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Hwaah... Thank you, Link. I, too, feel the Bright Sun! I dreamt of the waterfall on the mountain north of Sunken City. Perhaps the next essence is near there...Go all the way back to
Gnarled Root Dungeon and move a few screens north and left. When you come across a pit in front of a log, jump over the pit and go through the log. If you're using Ricky, move up a screen and call him using the flute. Jump up the cliff, then head as far right as you can. Now go as far south as you can, then jump up the cliff. Continue along the path until you jump off the cliff, then follow the path north. If you're using Moosh, fly over the pits to the right. When you're at the second set of pits, land north of them and fly over the next set of pits to the right. Fly to the right over the next set of pits, then head north and as far right as you can. If you're using Dimitri, simply navigate your way through the waters to the right until you reach dry land. Eventually you'll come across the Great Moblin.
Great Moblin: You! You, boy! This is the Great Moblin's realm! If you wish to get by alive, pay my toll! Hah, heh!Head right a screen and you'll be in
Sunken City. Once there, jump over the deep water and head south. Follow the path until you can't go any further. Go back and when you go by the second house you'll see a bunch of kids standing around a red creature.
: Kid 1Hoh! I found something wierd!
: Kid 3It's a monster! It came to attack the city--it did!
: Kid 1We must protect the city! Hah! Take that!Talk to
Kid 2.
Kid 2: We're protecting the city! But without weapons, we're helpless. Do you have any Bombs?Yes - There's nothing to fear now! Let's go out on patrol!!!No - What about the city's safety?(After choosing "Yes")

Kid 2: Hoh!They all run away. Talk to the creature.

Dimitri: You saved me. I am Dimitri. You can't swim? I can even swim up waterfalls. You helped me, now I help you. Get on my back. I chomp when you press A. And I swim like a fish--even up waterfalls. You can also carry me using the Power Bracelet.Head to the north side of
Sunken City. When you get near a waterfall Dimitri will talk to you again.
Dimitri: I even swim up waterfalls. Try it!After going up a waterfall, move as far left as you can, then go up the left waterfall and into the cave. Push the statues into the shape of a square, but with a space in the middle for you to stand in. Once there, use the spin attack to hit all the statues at once. When you've done this, a staircase will appear. Use it to reach the
treasure chest, then open it. You'll get the Master's Plaque. Leave this cave and enter the one right next to it. Talk to the master diver.
Master Diver: I am the master diver! To become my pupil, go to the next cave and open all four eyes in a single stroke! And bring back proof that you have done so! Ohh!!! That's my Master's Plaque! You've passed my test! Very well, then! I accept you as my pupil! Take these Flippers! You will get
Zora's Flippers.
Master Diver: I'll teach you my secret route to Mt. Cucco! There's a diving hole among the reefs in town. Use the Flippers I gave you.
Swim down both waterfalls, then head left. Just right of the house is some deep water. Jump into it, press B, and swim north as far as you can. You'll find a secred underwater passage. Swim through it, and when you surface, climb the vines. Head right and north, up the long staircase. Once at the top, jump off the cliff and you'll appear in Subrosia. Jump over the lava pit and two Subrosians will run by and knock Roc's Feather out of your grasp.
Subrosian 1: What's that? It's so wierd. I'll trade you this ore for it! Thanks! They run off with the
feather and give you Fool's Ore. Go left and into the house.
Subrosian 1: Let's go bury some treasure. Make sure no one sees us. If anyone does, run! They run away. Follow them out the house. You'll now have to hide from them by staying out of their line of vision for several screens. If you're successful, you'll see them bury the
feather.
Subrisoan 1: That's good! Come on! Let's go find more treasure!Dig over the patch of dirt and you'll get
Roc's Feather back. Now go all the way back and as far right as you can until you come across a staircase surrounded by lava. Jump to it, go through the cave, and you'll appear in the Tower of Spring. Jump over the lava pits. Go upstairs twice and approach the statue and a fairy will appear.
Spirit of Spring: I am the Spirit of Spring. Rock-hard buds bloom in spring. It is a season of discovery. To think I can add to the power of the hero with the triangle symbol! I loan you the power of the Spirit of Spring!
The screen flashes and Link holds up the Rod of Seasons. You now have the power of spring. Leave Subrosia and change the season to spring. Go right and then up a screen and pick up the Blue Cucco. Fly up to the upper cliff, then go into the cave (the cave on the upper cliff). When you come out the other end, grab the Spring Banana and give it to Moosh.
Moosh: You brought me a Spring Banana! Is it for me? I happily accept! Gmph, gmph, GULP! So tasty! That was great. I am Moosh. You fed me, so I'll help you. I'll give you a ride anywhere. Tap A to hover, or hold it to save power for a ground pound. But water is my weakness. The shallow stuff is one thing, but I can't take deep water, so be careful.Go as far left as you can and eventually the season will change to winter. At this point, move up a screen and hover over the pits to reach the
Dragon Key. Once you've done that, go back and change the season to spring again. Now start moving left again until you come across the second Deku Scrub. On this screen, use the Blast Bloom to reach the cliff. Now change the season to winter and head left. Use the pile of snow to reach the cave. Work your way to the top, then when you come outside, use the Blue Cucco to fly over to the next cliff. Put the Dragon Key into the keyhole and a secret entrance behind the waterfall will be revealed. Change the season to summer. If you're not playing a password-linked game, dive into the deep water at the upper-right corner of the screen and you'll find a secret underwater cave. Swim to the end of it and get the Pyramid Jewel. Surface and go inside the cave.
Dancing Dragon Dungeon
A message will pop up on the screen that says "
Level 4 Dancing Dragon Dungeon". Move forward a room and jump into the cart. When you get off, use a bomb on the crack in the right wall. In the next room, pick up any two middle pots and push all the rest onto the switches. When they're all in place, stand on the last switch and a key will fall from the ceiling. Pick it up and jump back into the cart. As you drive by it, hit the switch to change the track. When you get off, push the statue onto the switch to keep the door open. Go through the door. To reach the staircase, push the top and bottom blocks on the side to the left, then push the middle block up or down. Now go down the stairs. Go south a room, then go down the stairs found in that room. You'll appear in an underground tunnel. On the second screen, you'll come across some blocks that change position every few seconds. To get across safely, jump across the first two blocks that appear. When a new set of blocks appears, jump one block back. When they change again, jump one block forward. Keep jumping forward as the blocks change. Once upstairs, make your way around the room to the treasure chest. Get the key from inside, then go back to the entrance and unlock the door on the right side of the room. Go into the room you just unlocked, then up a room. To avoid the rolling spikes, simply dive underneath them. Jump into the cart in the next room, and when you get off, jump back in, hitting the switch to change the tracks along the way back. In the next room, defeat all the enemies to get a key. Jump back into the cart. Unlock the locked block when you get off and defeat all the enemies to make a set of stairs appear. Climb up onto the platform and use Pegasus Seeds and Roc's Feather to jump over the double pits. Go down the stairs and jump into the cart. When you get off, go over to the treasure chest and get the key inside. Go down two rooms and a message will appear.
Shadow: Can you see through my power?!?
To defeat this creature, keep both torches lit. One of the enemies will have a shadow underneath it, but you can only see it when both torches are lit. Hit the enemy with the shadow. Continue doing this until you've won. When you've defeated it, a warp will appear. Go down one more room and jump in the cart. When you get off, go down and left a room. Push the statue onto the switch and a treasure chest will appear. The floor will also collapse. Use a Pegasus Seed to reach the treasure chest, then get the slingshot from inside. Go back a few rooms and jump in the cart. When you get off jump back in. In the second room you go through, use the slingshot to hit both switches as you pass by them. When you get off the cart, follow the path to a room filled with water. Dive in the "right eye" of the room to find the Boss Key. Now go all the way back to the first cart you rode on this floor. Load up the slingshot with Ember Seeds and shoot them at the torches as you pass by them. If you hit them all, a treasure chest will appear. Ride the cart one more time, then go down a room and climb onto the platform to reach it. Get the key, then move south until you reach the second cart. Move to the bottom part of the room and push the block one space right of it down to block the Blade Trap. Use the slingshot to hit the switch, then jump in the cart. In the next room, defeat all the enemies to open the door. Once you've done that, move up a room. Move to the upper left side of the room and go down the stairs. Use Ember Seeds to light the torches on the other side of the gap and a bridge will form. Cross it and pass through the next room. In the room after that, board the green platform and it will take you to the tiny ledge in the upper right corner of the room. Go through the locked door.
Boss Fight: GohmaTo defeat Gohma, first start hitting its claw. Use
Roc's Feather to avoid its attacks after you hit it. Repeat this until the claw is destroyed. Gohma will now start running around the room, occasionally stopping to let out some colorful creatures. Use this opportunity to hit it in the eye using the slingshot. Once Gohma has been defeated the door on the right side of the room will open. Go through it and get the Soothing Rain. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Oh, Link... I, too, grow in might under the Soothing Rain! I had another vision just now. I saw a lake shaped like eyeglasses... Hohhm... ZZZ...Head to
Eyeglass Lake (just north of Horon Village). On the right "eye" there will be a Subrosian warp. Walk into it. Head south and follow the path, jumping over the lava pool until you reach the Bomb Flower. Pick it using the bracelet. Leave Subrosia and re-enter it using any other Subrosian warp. (The easiest thing to do would be to warp to the Woods of Winter and continue moving as far left as you can until you find a warp). Once in Subrosia head for the Tower of Autumn. Talk to the Subrosian in front of the rocks.:
SubrosianOh! That's a Bomb Flower! Thanks! OK, let's break it!The
Subrosian places the Bomb Flower near the rocks and blows them up.
Subrosian: That was great! Now we have plenty, thanks to you. If you ever need any ore melted, come to the furnaces.Go inside and jump over the lava pits to reach the stairs. Go upstairs twice and approach the statue and a
fairy will appear.
Spirit of Autumn: I am the Spirit of Autumn. My turn has come! They say fall is lonely, but no! Pits are filled with fallen leaves and mushrooms are ripe for picking! When shadows fall on Hyrule, a hero shall appear... Is that hero you? Then I grant you autumn's power!
The screen flashes and Link holds up the Rod of Seasons. You now have the power of autumn.
Spirit of Summer: Now the Rod of Seasons has the powers of all four seasons. This is all the help we can offer you. Oh, courageous youth... Din and all Holodrum are counting on you.
Head back to the right "eye" of Eyeglass Lake and head north (along land). Jump onto the tree stump and change the season to autumn. Continue heading north until you reach a wall of trees preventing you from going any further. Move one screen right and pick the mushrooms. Go inside the cave.
Unicorn's CaveA message will pop up on the screen that says "
Level 5 Unicorn's Cave". Move forward and right a room, then jump into the second mine cart. As you pass by it, hit the switch to go straight through this room to the next one. Open the treasure chest to get a key. Jump back into the mine cart and hit the switch. As soon as you get off jump back into the cart and you'll be taken right instead of straight. Go down the stairs and make your way through the tunnel (go up the first ladder you come across). Head left and follow the path until you reach a locked door. Unlock it and open the treasure chest to get the magnetic gloves. Use the gloves to move the iron ball onto the switch to hold the door open. Leave the room, then move down and push the blocks out of your way. Head all the way back through the tunnel, then when you're upstairs, jump in the mine cart. When you get off, jump into the mine cart next to the one you just rode. Once the ride is over set the polarity of the gloves to north and use them on the magnetic turnstile. When your back is facing the treasure chest quickly switch the polarity to south to fly across the gap. Get the key then leave this room. When you go by it, hit the switch so that the track goes straight, then jump back into the cart as soon as you get off. Follow the path to the next room, then defeat the Moblin and push the lone block to make an iron ball appear. Use the gloves to move the ball onto the switch behind the wall of blocks. Once you've done that, go back to the entrance and move one room left. Stand on the colored tile and use the gloves to cross the gap. Open the treasure chest to get a key, then go back to the other side of the gap. Move as far north as you can and you'll come across an iron ball. Move it out of your way, then head north one more screen. Defeat all the enemies to open the door, then go through it. In this room, wake up each Armos one-at-a-time and defeat it. Remember the order you defeated them in, because when they're all gone four treasure chests will appear. Open them in the order that you defeated the Armos' in and you'll get a key. Head back to the room with the two mine carts and jump in the second one. Make sure it takes you right, then get off and use the gloves to fly across the pit. Jump in the mine cart, grab the key from the treasure chest, then jump back in the cart and when you get off move right one room. You now have to fight Syger. To defeat it, use Roc's Feather to jump over it when it rolls at you, then when it stops, hit its tail. Once you've defeated it a warp will appear. Move up a room, then move right. Step on the switch to open the door to the north, then go through it. Pass through the next room and you'll come to a room filled with enemies. Defeat them all to open the doors, then move left a room and use the gloves to move the iron ball as far left as you can. Go back to the room north of where you fought Syger and go left. Pass through the next room, then use the iron ball to get passed the fire traps unharmed. Go through the locked door and down the stairs. Use the gloves to get through the tunnel. At the end you'll recieve the Boss Key. Once again, head one room north of where you fought Syger and unlock the locked block. Go downstairs and make your way through the tunnel. When you're back upstairs, move the pots out of the way and use the gloves to cross the gap onto the narrow ledge. Use them again, this time facing east. Move two spaces up, face west, and use them one last time to cross the gap. Unlock the door and move into the next room.
Boss Fight: DigdoggerGo to the upper east side of the room and locate the spiked ball. Use the
gloves to steer the ball into Digdogger. After a few hits, Digdogger will break up into many smaller creatures. Hit them with the spiked ball or with your sword to defeat them. After a limited amount of time they will come back together to form Digdogger. Repeat this pattern until all the smaller creatures have been defeated and you'll have won. Move north a room to collect the Nurturing Warmth. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Oh, Link... Nurturing Warmth has brought me strength! I saw a dream of Link inside vast ruins. Perhaps an essence is hidden in some. Hohhm... ZZZ...Head west of
Horon Village. Go to the beach and look for an unlit torch in the water. Light it using an Ember Seed and the Slingshot. A bridge will form. Cross the bridge and use a Mystery Seed on the question mark-shaped rock. An enemy will appear. Defeat it and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to obtain the X-Shaped Jewel. Now head to Gnarled Root Dungeon and go into the water. Swim south along the wall and you'll come across a tree with an opening in it. Go inside and talk to the old man.
Old Man: Oh keeper of the essences! I have awaited your arrival! I give you this! You will get the
Round Jewel. Leave the house. If you're not playing a password-linked game, swim west and then move as far north as you can in the water. Change the season to winter, then move as far south as you can (again, moving by water). Dig away the piles of snow, then use a bomb on the cracked wall. Open the treasure chest inside to get the Square Jewel. If you're playing a password-linked game you can find the Square Jewel by changing the season to summer at Eyeglass Lake and looking for a cave that you have to open with a bomb. The last piece you'll already have unless you're playing a password-linked game. If you are, warp to Sunken City and move to the southern end of it. In the middle you'll find a lone square of deep water. Dive into it. Here is where the last puzzle piece is located. Once you have all four of them warp to Spool Swamp and move one screen right. Go through the log and set each of the puzzle pieces into the four holes in the wall. When they're all there the gate will open. Go though it and change the season to summer. Climb the vines and follow the path to a lone statue. Push it and part of a staircase will appear. Go back and change the season to winter. Go to the half-staircase and there will be a large pile of snow that will allow you to reach it. At the top of the stairs push the bottom two statues onto the ice, then change the season to autumn. Follow the path north until you find a tree stump in the middle of the screen with four paths, one in each compass direction. Change the season to winter and go west. Change the season to autumn, then move south. Change the season to spring and head east. Finally, change the season to summer and go north. Follow the path until you find another tree stump. Change the season to winter and follow the path to the south until you find yourself on a screen with two statues. Push the bottom one and jump down the cliff. Change the season to spring and use the Blast Bloom to reach the top of the cliff. Move west one screen.
Mysterious figure: Hee hee hee hee! Link...Lightning strikes the ground and it appears.

Mysterious figure: Know this, foolish boy! If you save Din, the world will be filled with destruction, sorrow and despair. Our great sacrifice will be offered, and the Evil King revived!!! Then people will know true pain, as darkness falls across the lands. Eee hee hee hee! Ho ho ho ho!Walk inside the building.

Ancient RuinsA message will pop up on the screen that says "
Level 6 Ancient Ruins". Move forward a few rooms until you reach a turnstile. Go through it and you'll be forced to move right. Circle around the rooms until you end up back in the second room of the dungeon. Move up and through the turnstile again and you'll go left. Head north. In the next room, use Roc's Feather and the magnetic gloves in combination to move the iron ball onto the switch in the far right corner of the room. Once you've done that a key will drop from the ceiling. Pick it up and move south two rooms. Defeat all the enemies and push the block to open the door on the right, then go through it. Move the iron ball onto the switch and unlock the locked block. Go through the turnstile (to the right), then circle around the rooms again to get back to the room that you just moved an iron ball in. From here, move left, up, and right a room to reach the turnstile again. You will now be able to reach the room to the north. Once in that room, move the iron ball onto the switch to reveal a secret staircase in the north wall. Go upstairs and make your way through the next room. In the room after that, open a treasure chest to get a key. Go back downstairs and through the turnstile. Move left, down, and right a room, then north to reach the turnstile. Do this twice to get it pointing to the right. Unlock the door in the room to the right of the one with the turnstile and go through it. Move right one room and step on the switch. As soon as you do, a bridge will form and the floor will begin to collapse. Quickly cross the bridge and go upstairs. Use a bomb to blow open the cracked wall in the southeast corner of the room. In the next room, go through the door on the left side of the room. Move the trampoline onto the colored tile and jump on it. Move down and right a room to get the magical boomerang. Defeat all the enemies with it and leave. Drop into the hole in the next room (not the one through which you got onto this floor). When you land, move left one room and climb up onto the ledge. In the room it takes you to, step on the switch to open the door. In the next room, use the boomerang to hit the crystal switch to reveal a secret staircase. Once upstairs move down one room. Once again, use the boomerang to hit the crystal switch. Move south one more room. Fall into the pit and circle around the wall to a room with some moving green platforms and unlit torches. Light all the torches and a secret staircase in the north wall will appear. Head upstairs and right. Have some Pegasus Seeds and Roc's Feather handy, because as soon as you grab the Rupee the walls will start to close in and you'll have to circle around the room to the exit as fast as possible. In the next room, open the treasure chest to get the Boss Key. Go back one room and down the stairs. Defeat all the enemies and push the upper-left block to open the door. In the next room, fall into the pit. Walk over to the treasure chest to get a key. Jump on the trampoline to get back upstairs and unlock the door. In the next room a small red dragon will appear.
Vire: Gar har har! I am Vire, Onox's loyal henchman! I heard someone was trying to stop Onox, but it's just some kid! Fine! I can handle you!
Simply hit Vire as it flies by you.
Vire: OUCH! Pesky kid! Take this!
Keep hitting the dragon as it flies by you. You'll often have to get close to it, as it usually stays near the perimeter of the room.
Vire: Bully! That's it! I'm serious!
Hit it a few more times.
Vire: Fine! Goodbye!Vire
will now split up into two creatures. Hit them as they swoop down to attack you, or jump up in the air and slash them. When both are defeated, you'll have won.
Vire: OUCH..! I paid for my overconfidence, but I'll report this to Onox! Gar har har!A
warp will appear and both doors will open. Move right and carefully make your way through the next room. In the room after that, jump over the spiked rollers and step on the switch to open the door. In the next room one of the switches will cause Ropes to drop from the ceiling and the other will make a stiarcase appear in the southeast corner of the room. Which switch is which is always random, so keep guessing until you get it right. When you do, head upstairs. Pass through the first room, then in the next room, use the iron ball to defeat the enemies. Go left and turn all the crystal switches red using the boomerang to open the south door. In the next room, move the trampoline three spaces right of the colored tiles (so that it lines up with the north/south staircase). Jump on it and hit the crystal switch, then fall back down and go up the staircase that has appeared. Push the single block right and unlock the door.
Boss Fight: ManhandlaTo defeat Manhandla, first use the
boomerang to destroy each of its heads. The best way to do this is not to aim directly for a head, but to loop the boomerang around Manhandla and move it back towards you. You have a much higher chance of doing damage this way, and you also have the ability to hit multiple heads at once. Once all of its heads are destroyed, Manhandla will begin doing figure-eights around the room. The best place to stand now is on the two vertical strips of tile. Rapidly hit the creature with the boomerang until its core is exposed, then slash it. Once you've won the fight a staircase will appear in the north wall. Go upstairs and collect the Blowing Wind. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.:
Maku TreeSay, Link! The Blowing Wind reaches me, too! I dreamt of a cemetery west of Horon Village. Could an essence lie there..? To get there, find a way across the sea. Hohhm... ZZZ...Go to
Horon Village and move one screen south of the fountain. Go down the stairs and use the boomerang to hit the switch. Cross the bridge and step into the Subrosian warp. Go down two sets of stairs and talk to the captain.
Captain: Useless fools! Can't someone find me a bell? Aye? You..? Aye, I can see it in your eyes. You're a competent adventurer... OK! Go get it! Find me bell! I'll be waitin'!Go back to
Holodrum and leave Horon Village through the west exit. On the next screen, go through the log and follow the path right. Talk to the pirate.
Pirate: You'll look for the bell?!? Then I can go back! Thank'ee!He runs away. Now push the four skull-shaped panels in the following order (from left to right): 3, 3, 2, 1, 1, 4, 4, 4. The screen will shake and the panels will disappear. Move up a screen and you'll be in
Samasa Desert. Move two screens right to find a semi-buried pirate ship and go down the stairs. Talk to the ghost inside.
Ghost: Ahoy! When I was searching the desert for the bell, I got caught in a sandstorm. I awoke like this! I can't go on to the afterlife... If ye pity me, help me find that bell! Me skull is rollin' out in the desert. Find that first. He disappears. Go to the upper-right corner of the
desert to find his skull. Pick it up.
Skull: I been waitin' matey! Now let's find that bell. Carry me around. I'll tell ya if I think we're close.Go down two screens and walk over the left quicksand pit. The
skull's teeth will begin to chatter. Fall into the pit.
Skull: That's it! No doubt about it!Pick up the
Rusty Bell.
Skull: Uh-oh! That's Cap'n's bell, but I hope that'll do. It's awful rusty! ................ Well, at least I can go on to the afterlife now! The rest is up to you!It disappears. Go back to
Subrosia through the warp in the Woods of Winter. (Go as far north as you can, then turn left the first chance you get.) Once there, head to the Smithy.
Subrosian: Welcome to the Subrosian Smithy! We do the finest work in the land, but we take on only jobs that interest us! The two in the back are masters of the trade. I'm just a manager. Hmm? The Master speaks... Hmm... Is that so? The Master's eyes cannot be deceived! He says you hold a bell of great value. He hasn't offered to polish it, but should he?Please - "Please"--?!? Is that how you ask for a favor? Try again later!Do it! - Splendid answer! Straight and to the point! Master! Do it now!The screen flashes.

Subrosian: Sorry for the wait! This is why he's a master! The finest work in all the land! Take it! Treat it like an heirloom! You will get the
Pirate's Bell. Take it to the captain.
Captain: Eh? You brought me bell? Thank'ee! Let's take a gander! Ar! There's no mistakin' it! This bell is fulll o' memories--but that don't mean they're all good! Sniff! Now I'm all pensive. It's not like me. We're off, mateys! To sea!
Pirate: Aye, aye, sir!The screen flashes and everyone appears in front of a half-buried ship.

Pirate: Now reporting, Cap'n! The ship's all fixed! We can set sail anytime!
Captain: To the ship! They all go down the staircase.
Link follows them.
Captain: Aye! We're off, mateys! Anchors aweigh! The ship starts sinking into the sand.

Pirate: Cap'n!!! Desert, dead ahead!!!They all jump.

Captain: Hold 'er steady! To sea, mateys!
Pirate: But it's... impossible...
Captain: Fool! It's do or die! We'll make it if we give 'er all we got!
Pirate: A-Aye, aye, sir! ('Elp us all!)He goes upstairs, then returns.

Pirate: We made it, Cap'n! The sea!
Captain: By Jolly Roger! Aye! Go, mateys! This is it!!!
Pirates: AYE, AYE, SIR!!!
Captain: Argh! The sea is truly me home! Me heart's come alive! Aye! Sound the bell! The ship starts moving out to sea.

Pirate 1: Oooh... Uhhhhn... I don't feel so good... Uhwaugh!
Pirate 2: I been on land so long... I... I got seasick! Oooh... Uhhhhn...
Pirate 3: It's no use! Think about it! We ain't sailed since we died.
Captain: You call your-selves pirates! Shameful fools! Getting sick the moment you set sail? It's... Oooh... Uhnn... It's no use! Put 'er ashore!
Pirates: Uhhn... Aye, aye, sir...The ship stops between two ends of a broken bridge, making it possible to cross from one side to the other.

Captain: Oooh... S-set anchor... Aye, we gotta get our sea legs. We'll rest here a bit.Get off the ship and head north, into the house. Blow up the cracked wall and go to the next room. Leave the house and change the season to summer. Go back to the ship and head as far west as you can. When you reach the end of the path, you'll see some vines you can climb. Climb them and move north a few screens.

Explorer's CryptA message will pop up on the screen that says "
Level 7 Explorer's Crypt". Go north as far as you can. In the next room the message "Be gone before the fires go out, or else..." will appear. Quickly make your way to the exit in the bottom right corner of the room. In the next room, defeat all the enemies and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to find a key. Go back one room and once again the message "Be gone before the firest go out, or else..." will appear. Go to the second room of the dungeon and unlock the door. Climb onto the ledge and follow it to the dark room. Light the torches across the gap and a Poe will appear.
Poe: Trying to break my curse? Don't be silly! I won't let you!
Defeat the Poe and it will talk to you.
Poe: Not bad! But it won't go so well next time!
It disappears. Move north a room and go down the stairs. Go left a room and step on the switch. A trampoline will appear. Move it two spaces south of the blue block and jump on it. Land on the switch and a key will fall through the hole in the floor. Drop down and pick it up, then go right one room. One of the Armos' in this room is just a statue, the rest are real. Move the statue onto the switch and move south one room. Go down the stairs and step on the green platform. When it reaches the end of its path use the gloves to fly onto solid ground. Quickly make your way across the bridge in the next room. In the room after that, press the switches in the following order: the bottom switch on the right side of the room, the left switch at the south side of the room, the top right switch, then the last one. A key will drop into the room. Pick it up, then go upstairs and south through the locked door, then right. In this dark room, you must get all four torches burning at the same time. When you do, a Poe will appear.
Poe: So! You hope to break my curse? I'm tougher than my sister! I will stop you!
Hit it a few times.
: Ugh... Next time I shall leave this Poecrypt...
Go left two rooms. Dive under the spiked rollers, then go downstairs. Head left a room, then north. Use the boomerang to hit the crystal switch. To do this, you'll have to maneuver the boomerang off the screen, then guess when it forms a line with you and the crystal switch and let it come back to you. Once you've done this the metal blocks will start spinning. Use the gloves to get across the gap (you'll have to change polarity in mid-air). Jump on the blue trampoline and use a Pegasus Seed in combination with Roc's Feather to get across the gap at the north side of the room. Once you've done that, head north one more room and open the treasure chest. You'll get Roc's Cape. Go back to the bottom floor and move north one room. Use Roc's Cape to get across the gaps on the east side of the room, and defeat all the enemies in the next room. Use the trampoline to reach the moving green platform on the above floor, then use the gloves to move the iron ball onto the switch. Open the treasure chest to get a key. Leave this room, then move two rooms south and one room east and go down the stairs. Unlock the locked block and make your way to the south side of the room. Follow the path in the next room until you reach the opening at the north end. Defeat the enemies and a door will open. Go through it. Use Pegasus Seeds and Roc's Cape to reach the switch. Step on it and go through the door on the right.
Poe 1: We meet again! Will you break our curse, or will we break you?!? Time will tell!
Hit the Poes while keeping at least one torch burning. When you defeat one, it will talk to you.
Poe 1: No! Never... I'll come back to haunt you!
The other will also talk to you once you defeat it.
Poe 2: Aaaahhhh!!! I don't wanna...
It disappears. A warp appears and the doors open. Go to the next room and up the stairs directly north of you. Follow the path to the next staircase, then take the right staircase. Walk a straight line to the next one, then choose the one on the right. Once upstairs, choose the right staircase, then the north one, then walk to the last one. Exit this room and use the gloves to cross the gap in the next. In the room after that, defeat all the enemies and a key will appear. Pick it up and re-enter this room through the entrance on the right side of the previous room. Unlock the door and follow the path until you reach three sets of statues. Push the switches in order of ascending numbers (press the one next to the single statue first, then the one with two, then three) and jump across the gap. Press the switch in the next room and a trampoline will appear. Jump on it and land on the moving green platform. Go up the left set of stairs and turn the blue crystal switch red and vice versa. Go downstairs, then up the set of stairs on the right side of the room. Turn both crystal switches red and the door at the north side of the room will open. Fly to it. In the next room, defeat every enemy and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to find the Boss Key, then go back to the room with all the staircases. Take the one in the southeast corner, then walk across the room to the locked door. Enter the next room.
Boss Fight: GleeokThis is a very easy fight. First, cut off the dragon's two heads. When you do so, it will attack with its body. Jump in the air just after Gleeok does to avoid getting stunned by the earthquake that occurs when it lands. When it does land, slash it as many times as you can. Repeat this pattern for an easy win. Go to the next room and pick up the
Seed of Life. Once you've done that, the screen will go white and Link will appear in front of a black background. Leaves will fall down the screen and the Maku Tree will talk to you.
Maku Tree: Hwaah... Say, Link! The Seed of Life has given me new strength! Now for the last Essence of Nature! But this time, I saw no dreams... So I rely on you, Link. It is somewhere in Holodrum. Good luck! Thanks to you, my strength is returning! Good luck, Link!
