Hear us "Please don't ban Harry!" Millions of children around the world have started turning to these books to read instead of playing playstation or watching tvs. Teachers always encourage us to read, and finally, there is a book series that interests so many kids! The percentage of reading has gone up lots since Harry has been published.
We have heard that many adults fear that Harry Potter books encourage us to be in an occult. Frankly, most kids don't even know what an occult is! And it's all right for kids to wish to have magical powers or ride broomsticks or live in the magical world. It just goes to show you how imagination sparks. It's just FANTASY! And if you take away our books all's you're going to do is ruin an author's success and ruin kid's opportunities! I happen to know that the better term for 'occult' and practicing magic is 'wicca'. There are thousands of wiccans in the world today and not all of them are a member of an occult.. They aren't bad. Most practice 'magic' by themselves. They just have more immense beliefs. If you practice wicca you don't deal with 'dark magic', wiccans don't play with people's lives or cast nasty spells. They can still believe in God, and they most certainly do NOT worship the devil or evil spirits. There Gods are the God and the Goddess. There is a saying that wiccans use. It is similar to "what goes around, comes around," except if they use magic for their own benifits, it comes back at them 3 times as worse. Many children just enjoy the books, and the magical community J.K. has created for them. If you ban these books, then what's next? The Chronicles of Narnia?!
KIDS and/or ADULTS VOTE TO KEEP HARRY AROUND at my voting booth. That way if the people that are strongly trying to band the books see this and see how much we want to keep the books around, we can change their minds. I know of a lot of other websites that are doing this too. Please vote, and save Harry!
