Garden Gnomes are more well-off than Wood Gnomes. See, Garden Gnomes (like in Ron's backyard) have everything they need right in front of them to live-a nice backyard, a garden with plenty of food, and many surpluses of bushes, twigs, grass, and flowers for building their homes with. |

The Wood Gnomes are hard working gnomes (unlike the Garden Gnomes) who have to fight to live. Usually living in abandoned animal holes in trees; these small gnomes hunt their own food, make there own living quarters (inside the tree) and count on good harvest for life. |
