The Diary of Tom Riddle has spoken.

Tom: Diary, today the Potter's have given birth to a baby boy.  They call him "Harry."  I have been studying the planets--this helpless little boy will defeat me one day...

Diary: Tom...what is it that you want me to do?

Tom: My Lord, I ask for your wisdom.

Diary: My wisdom?  Just a few days ago when you consulted me about some Dark Magic Spell that you were having trouble with--you told me my wisdom was trash.  That I didn't know what I was writing about.

Tom:  I ask for your forgiveness, wise one...I've always wanted to be mighty and powerful.  I want wizards to notice me...and...and muggles to fear me!

Diary: Don't we all, Tom?

Tom:  I have lived a rotten life. Hogwarts.  Dumbledore.  That hideous James Potter and his gang of animags.  You think I'd get the goods someday...but Dairy, I live here falling apart.  Show me the way.  Give me your advice.

Diary: You will become all powerful.  You will be the most feared Dark Wizard in all of Our World.  The muggles will fear you.  It is coming...

Tom: Yes, my lord, but how do I start?

Diary: There is only one way to gain power--take over our world.  Kill those who don't follow, keep those that do.  You want revenge, I can feel it.  You want the Potter's son dead. He will interfear with your work.  You will fall, if you don't kill him.

Tom: How will I do it?  By the time the word's got to the Ministry of Magic, they'll have dementors everywhere!  And all the wizards-including the Potters will most likely find a hiding spot.

Diary: You are stronger than that.  There is a trator in the Potter's midst.  He doesn't even know it now.  Once you get to him-threaten him.  He will listen, he will show you where the Potter's are hiding.  He will be your servant.

Tom: Thank you, Diary.  I must set to work, there are many plans to make.

Diary: Yes...
