Venus Fly Trap

The Venus Fly Trap is a very 'wild' plant.  It is a carnivorous plant; which means it eats other animals to survive.  The Venus Fly Trap plant is very dangerous.  Some kinds can get big enough to catch dogs or even deer in their talons, their 'mouth' like leaves.  The mouth like leaves catch their prey.  Usually they catch bugs, like flies.  That's how it got it's name.
Venus Fly Traps live in humid places with lots of water, usually in mosses.  They produce small flowers, and grow more "mouths."
