Awaiting Goodbye
Time heads into the future
As I remember the past.
Soon the time will come
When we shall have to say goodbye.
The times we've shared were golden.
An array of photo stills
Are scattered among my memory.
Time of healing, times of pain,
A time we ran through the rain.
Most of these you've probably forgotten
And soon sadly I will too.
When I first came here,
You opened yourself to me
Then we chose to set eachother free.
My feelings aren't the same
As they were way back then.
But I hope as you grow older
You will look back and recall
The times we share now,
Were the greatest of all.
Remember me as a friend,
Who hung on til the end.
I hope we never lost touch as life goes on
Close your eyes and think of me,
The crazy girl known as Crabtree.
