We used to talk all of the time.
We used to share love that seemed endless.
Then slowly things began to change.
At first it all seemed so strange.
We started talking less,
And I knew you were avoiding me.
Nothing can change the past.
You will never have my heart again in your grasp.
Those three words I love to hear,
Were but a memory those last few days.
You shared your love with someone else,
Letting me believe I was the only one.
I know it wasn't meant to be.
You don't know how hard I cried for you.
And you never will.
I won't be loving you still.
You've caused me sleepless nights,
And millions of tears.
But I know just because you made me cry,
Doesn't mean that my heart must die.
