What I've achieved from few.
I've forgiven you inside out,
And discarded other's thoughts.
My head says to hold back,
But my heart has already given in.
I can hold the past against you,
But I'm holding my own and keeping silent.
I can forgive you for what you've done,
Because I konw how you feel.
I've been a betrayer a few times in life.
I have felt the blood on the knife.
I hope this is the right decision,
To still love you and wait.
But even if this isn't right,
I'm happy knowing you were part of my life.
Poetry is best written on the spur of a moment. The best things can come from the worst times of our lives.
