Yesterday you let me get to you know you.
I'm amazed you don't seem blue.
Dealt a rough hand, you live life well.
Your eyes are unclouded by hate.
I feel like a close friend.
I hope our talks never end.
I've learned some personal things of you
And you, of me too.
Maybe someday I will see you
We could talk about all that went wrong.
But for now I'm happy being your friend.
