Looks Like Christmas

Once again the snow has begun to fall.
Christmas approaches at winter's becking call.
Little slices, green blades of grass
Peeking out hoping the snow won't last.

The cookies are baking, the candy canes are hung
I wish Christmas would never be done.
Christmas carols fill the air
The trees outside, their branches become bare.

The Christmas spirit is upon us once again.
As we are gathered with family and friends.
May these feelings never go away
I wish Christmas could last forever and a day.
