I Met Someone

I'd be willing to bet tonight,
That you think I'm missing you.
You and your cheating heart
Have found a new home
And left me, once again alone.
But you are wrong.

The other day I met someone.
He's captivated my heart from day one.
He's given me strength I've never known.
He took me out on a date,
Showered me with praises,
Opened doors, a true gentleman.
Something you could never be.

You can take your cheating heart home,
Along with all of our memories.
I ripped up your photographs,
And let them fly out of my car's window
On the way home, from meeting
My special someone.

You painted the town,
Thinking my love would hang around.
I met someone
And he's more man than you could ever be.
