Part of me has died.
Now I try to find closure.
At a time when it seems impossible.
Your life was taken from you,
From you family and your friends.
Death appeared on its haunches
And it stole your loving soul.
I wish I could sit back
And everything would be alright.
I would be lying to myself
If I said I didn't miss you tonight.
Tears erupt from my inner soul.
With you, is my heart.
You were my sun, moon, and sky.
This is just the start.
Tonight as you were laid to rest,
I feel as though I've passed my self test.
I said goodbye to my friend,
Who I will love till my end.

This was written about John F. Kennedy Jr. I tried to write it from someone's point of view who was very close to him. I know how it feels to lose someone. Rest In Peace.
