I Wish
I wish I was intelligent
And could ace any test.
I wish I was beautiful
And my parents didn't see me as a pest.
I wish I could stop my tears.
I wish someone cared.
I wish I was loved
And people saw beyond the outside.
I wish my hair was golden blond
And my eyes the shade of baby blue.
I wish my heart was made of stone.
I wish I wouldn't be alone.
I wish I lived far away
Where I couldn't be a bother to others.
I wish my feet were two sizes smaller
And my nose didn't have a mole.
I wish I wasn't me.
But most of all
Above all these,
I wish I was never born.
