Child Abuse is the number 1 leading cause of death among children. In 1999 there were approximately 826,000 victums
of abuse of some kind. Almost three-fifth's of the victums were in the 0 to 3 year age group. About 87% were abused by one or both parents. An estimated 1,100 of the abused children, in 1999 died. Approximately 43% of these children were under 1 year old. These few facts are terrifying. If you think of know of a child that is being abused please,please report it.
