Land of Broken Dreams

There is a place where broken dreams go, when they have fallen from their dreamers mind.  Given up for hollow hope that never healed in time.
Dreams like shattered glass must fall to the ground at their dreamers feet.
Fallen dreams are soon to die.  Now without a dream, sleep.

Light Dawns on the Dark Side

Light dawns on the dark side, voices call in rebellious tones.
Screams heighten to their pinnacle.  Hatred flows like blood through the veins of healthy men.
Words like bullets tear away at the flesh of a solid substance,
that once resembled friendship...that once resembled sisterhood...that once resembled love...
Hateful glances cut like knifes, through the fog that clouds thier eyes.
The though unspoken, the love unseen, the apology lingers?

C'est Vrai, Mon Ami
At times I really belive life is hopeless, that my energy is spent and I should just say goodbye.
Then I hear your voice telling me about the joys of hanging on
to just one more minute of one more hour of one more day.
And when I look into your eyes, I see the effects of the truths you speak of
A smile so bright and full of life that I decide I can care or even love,
For just one more minute of one more hour of one more day.
