Previous Experience: TV (Commercials for the Florida State Lottery, the Money Store and NASA), film (Edward Scissorhands, 1990, he was 10. It’s kind of toward the beginning of the movie- "Peg" (a character) and "Edward (Scissorhands)" are driving in the car, and Edward is looking out the window of the car at all the children playing, and he looks at a boy running across a slip and slide- That’s NICK! His mother describes the scene in her book “The Heart And Soul Of Nick Carter, Secrets Only A Mother Knows”), theater (the lead in his 4th grade production of Phantom of the Opera, he was 13) and he was the featured vocalist for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pre-game show for two years
